Today was soooo fun! We had to wake up at 8, which sucked, since we volunteer at our church to help with the kids on Sundays. Today was a party, though, so it wasn't that bad once we got there. There were all sorts of games set up, and Madison and I had to each run one. All the kids really like us, since we're the youngest people there (that are in charge anyways) and we have "crazy" hair and act like little kids.
After that was over there was a secondary "volunteer appreciation" party which we went to, which was also a lot of fun. They had these cookies that looked like pigs, and Madison loved them.
There also had water balloons, which we got excited over.
We ended up using a giant slingshot to launch them at some people playing baseball, too. They enjoyed it, too, since it was about 97* F outside.
The last thing we did before leaving was play foosball (I have no idea how that's spelt...). I won the first game, and Madison won the second and the tie breaker. It was really close, too. She won by one point... lol.
After the party thing we went to the mall. Apparently a new Spirit Halloween store opened there, so we went in and Madison tried on shoes. After that we went to Spencer's and dick around a little bit, trying on hats and looking at jewelry. We ended our mall trip by going to some kinda new age-y shop called Stone Age (which is one of our favorites in the mall). So yeah, all in all it was a good day. Probably not the most exciting blog, but hey! At least its got pictures! Here are a few more to wrap things up.
Us being cute
Mall rules :p
Madison showing me how she could stick to a wall if she was a frog
Me "driving" a tractor! I rock
The shoes Madison tried on
And finally, us being pseudo-gangsta.
