Hello friends and new followers!
Let's give props to our lady, Slamm, on her first set ! bueno!
I went to a Sum41 show this past week and got the immortal Hell beat out of me... but had a great time! One girl was carried out before the show even started & I'm still wondering whether she was epileptic or tripping coca/molly. I lost my shoes in the mosh cos they were flats - got my foot stepped on which broke a toe and bruised my top of my foot. A guy fell on me, leaving me to wonder if I had a concussion and with scratches on my neck. I have bruises on my rib cage. I lost one of my favorite earrings.
BUT the MUSIC was SO GOOD. The opener, IAMDYNAMITE was quite impressive. My friends had never heard either band and had a great time. I had the lead singer of Sum41 stare me straight in the face when I was lifted up by a random guy stranger before I crowd surfed. It was an experience for sure.
I, unfortunately, got overheated & beat to Hell & had to leave, though. I ended up less than okay on the street and was lucky not to get a public intox. I wasn't really intoxicated & thankfully, the city I went to is just a little hippie town that grew. I love it cos it's one of the only places in the South that you feel scratches out all those closed-minded misunderstandings places in the deep South have.
I'm having a good time. Things get stressful when you have a family and friends circle as big as mine, but I'm just deciding day-by-day what and whom is important - but I LOVE taking the time out to blog to you guys. Even when I don't get a lot of comments on my post, I really enjoy getting your private messages. It might take me a couple days to respond, but ne'er fear, I will return!
