exactlt one week before my birthday I got tagged by a car on my bike. 2004 black impala, gunning it to try to beat a yellow light (totally my right of way 5 point intersection a bit hard to explain without drawing it out). bike is pretty fucked and my wrist is even more fucked. skip to one day before my birthday I go to the hospital to trade out my emergency room splint for a fancy new cast. Nope. oh wait, what's that you say I need surgey? oh I need to put screws into two of my bones, hot! I don't even take my pain meds I just ssell them so I can help pay for the increasing medical bills, cause you know "don't worry about it her insurance will cover everything but not for a few more months so until then you know just try to work with a broken wrist and figure out some way to eat."

still very tired and a bit hung over. I spent the night in providence hanging out with The Spunks and Gito Gito Hustler. We started in quincy and one of there friends were like oh well I know a guy who has keys to a bar and we can go there and drink and so we were just supose to follow him (totally made it sound like it was down the street) cut to an hour later when we roll into providence. It was my first time in providence and if Jamie's house has anything to do with the quality of providence then it must be pretty fucking awesome, cause dude had a spiral staircase in his apartment.

but yeah night ended with me and my friend joe driving back to boston at six am. All super nice guys. (kind of ended up talking to the drummer mostly which I feel might have been just cause he was the one who spoke english the best)

The Gossip is just the best band live. Beth is fucking rediculous. They're just one of those bands I will never get sick of seeing
