hooray,
started my 3 day week officially this week. but im still here on my days off just in case there is a bit of commission to be made. i handed back my car as it had €150 a week in benifit in kind tax. so im driving anything we have with petrol and tax on it, on a day to day basis. pics from the new o2 in dublin. worked for my other old company there last week at the chris brown concert. i was backstage ''guarding'' the backstage stairs onto the stage. the dancers were super hot and super fit. put moi to shame. + there was a pyro machine which lets off a mother of a BANG when a light goes off, i had 20 seconds to evac or i got burst ear drums. that was fun 'cos my heart raced like a mofo. working this weekend again too.

job is fucked. i took a cut in wages and then a 3 day week is on me fulltime now. fuck fuck fuck. i guess i'll be working for free next. i am sorting it though. i sorted full time evening work aswell at a concert venue today 6 nights a week and should keep me afloat. but it means no social life. fuck it again.

so he weekend went well. the kids party was a scream. weathr was awful though. nearly went into a ditch on the way back. irish people dont deal well with snow.
they had a piñata. but it was an irish event. we had no tree to hang it off. so we went with a wooden pole.
i ended up having to whack it open with the stick as the kids couldnt do it. it was a super piñata.
then we had cake made for celiac's. as my goddaughter is one.
and for the man of the moment moving into that big house today, president barack obama,

Two German children - aged five and six - have been stopped by police from eloping to Africa to tie the knot in the sun, reports say.
The budding lovebirds, identified as Mika and Anna-Lena, packed bathing costumes, sunglasses and a lilo and headed for the airport.
They even had the presence of mind to invite along an official witness - Anna-Lena's seven-year-old sister.
The three got as far as Hanover railway station before police intervened.
The young couple were "very much in love" and had decided to get married in Africa "where it is warm", police spokesman Holger Jureczko told the AFP news agency.

The idea for the getaway wedding was born as the children's families celebrated New Year's eve together and Mika regaled the two girls with stories of a recent holiday to Italy. They can still put their plan into action at a later date

The following morning, as their parents slept, the intrepid trio walked 1km (0.6 miles) to the local tram station at Langenhagen, where they hopped aboard a tram for Hanover central station.
But the group aroused the suspicion of a guard as they waited for a train to the airport, and police were called in.
Officers persuaded the children they would not get far without tickets and money, but consoled them with a free tour of the police station, where they were shortly picked up by relieved parents.
Although any marriage plans have been put on hold for now, police did not altogether rule out the possibility of an African wedding.

in other news a building across from me in work caught on fire.
i spent an hour and a half looking at it going up.
it was a bicycle/kids store. alot of kids wont be getting their presents this year. though the owner said he should have stock back in by next week.

guys, thanks for all the advice from the previous blog. i had a long talk with her. i have agreed to be there and i'll update you afterwards. i have some vacation time to take before the end of the year. so i'll be on to give you an update. when i can.

reason i've been quiet is i suppose i've been thinking on what the current 'credit crunch' means to me. and the fact that in ireland we have finally admitted that were in recession. and for me thats bad news. my job involves around money, the giving of it and making of it. so my bank balance is getting worse, my share investments are in the toilet, and i'm hoping the place i work in wont go under.
u see i remember the last recession and all that comes with it. 3 bed terrace house 6 kids a wife and one state wage coming thru the door. those days were so bad financially. i had a happy childhood dont get me wrong, but it was a poor happy childhood. i didnt know any better. now i do. and it scares me to have to wonder whether i'll have a roof over my head this time next year. i guess i better pray one of those high risk companies come through. i can live the cheap life. but i prefer the high life. .
this week i been mostly listening to this man.
