My wife was gone for a work trip last night. So I got to spend the night with a couple of extra pups in my bed. The guest dogs are allowed in the bed when she's home, but removing a human allows a few more of them room to be comfortable.
Rafa is a three-legged little poodle mix. At least they think he is a poodle mix. He was found as a stray puppy in San Francisco after being hit by a car. The vet who operated on him decided he needed a home and called her parents in Minnesota who promptly adopted him and have been caring for him ever since. He is now a very cranky old man who is absolutely in love with my wife. Since she wasn't there, he decided to snuggle between her pillows for the night.
Lola is a Great Dane. She is so attached to me that we have an old ottoman that we bring into the bedroom so she can sleep next to me. She gets cold so she has her own blanket. Last night she seemed extra restless. When I looked up from my book I saw that she had wormed her way partially onto the bed and was moving her blanket around so that she could warm her nose as well.
It was hard to sleep with all the cuteness around last night. 😁❤️
