3rd year Architecture school.

I can't believe I'm in my final year of Architecture School (Part1) I'm nervous scared and excited but most of all I'm stressed. I'm so stressed. I'm stressing over every single drawing, every design choice, and where I put that one particular line that the tutors don't quite like there. I'm stressing about group work, being a student representative, trying to...

Yeah, I have a feeling that's what it's making me too.
It's not that I'm trying to be an asshole, but somehow I already know what they're going to say and it irks me. I don't know why but it feels like people think I'm an idiot... which is probably also what I think they are too...blackeyed

Ok let's get rid of that super emotastic post and get onto some adventures! Moscow was amazing, infact the day after I got pick pocketed I managed to have the best day of the entire trip. I got to wander around alone for a few hours and I fucking loved it, I saw red square and got inside the kremlin! We wandered around some of...

Worst day ever. I know that somehow the day could get worse right now but untill I take my boots off and get some sleep, getting pick pocketed and losing my wallet on the Moscow metro is the worst it can possibly get.

I have friends here and my passport to get back on saturday but I need some words of encouragement to get me...

Travel related for sure! and maybe 'tea'?

I am so proud and pleased you have been able to travel and have so many cool adventures this year- do you think that you have gained a lot from your travels (of course I imagine you have- unless you are a robot!) but I often wonder what you have gained? Spiritual enlightenment or even just the art of being able to spot a good place to sit on a train.. I felt like when I started to travel around the UK I gained a strange understanding of how to pack a bag lightly smile

In order to keep in touch with my tutor from last year who is in a very famous and up and coming architecture practice and is an amazing networker ive decided im going to send him various postcards throughout the year of photos i've taken and projects I've done. The general idea is to help him remember how amazing I am and want to hire...

Blimey, I didn't say I disliked Dawn Landes tongue I just listened to 'Brighton' and it is a very lovely song. Maybe that album is worth checking out!

I liked that Best Coast song. I've liked stuff of theirs that I've heard on the radio well enough, but have never really been fussed about going any further. I do like her voice though.

I heard this next one for the first time last night. Well, I've seen her (with the same band) live, and have one of her other albums... but I hadn't heard about this album until now. I think much of her stuff is more perky than this... but I think this is one of the most gorgeous songs I've heard in a long time:

(again, I don't have a good feeling about that one, but I can't help myself because the song is so good).

I'll get to Berlin on Thursday... but I fly to Hamburg tonorrow. I'm spending a few days there, and then getting the train to Berlin. Perhaps I'm looking forward to Berlin more... but there's not much in it really. And I'm going to a game of football in Hamburg, which was what kicked the whole trip off in the first place.

You must be excited about going to Russia. Are you going to Moscow? And is this where I ask how cold it's going to be in November? wink

School Starts back up in October, and though I don't feel like I've wasted my summer away I feel in the last couple of weeks that I'm starting to reach that point. So I've vowed to myself to do things I've wanted to do for ages but have been to caught up in Architecture school to do. Here is the list, the Kai's final days...

Hi there... and yes, I did run that marathon. Time to update that post I suppose... already signed up for a few more runs as well.

If you find the perfect sketchbook, please let me know! I've been debating [URL=http://shop.monocle.com/stationery/monocle-stationery-notebooks , but don't have a shop near by to see and feel one prior to purchase... Monocle x stationery

And for post cards, have you tried Instagram? Post cards from your phone... INSTAGRAM
nathaninsf:
I quoted the wrong app!!! I meant Postagram... which allows you to use instagram pictures in physical, offline format... pretty great for offline life.

The marathon went well! under 4 hours, no injuries! And you inspired me to kick up a to do list as well... might need to flesh it out a bit, but a start is the hardest part. And that part is done... thanks for kicking me into it!

best of luck on your list, and if you give those books a shot, i MUST know how they go... I agree on Moleskines... lovely, but far from perfect. I had to give them up and am on a similar search. Currently on a 100% bamboo book. Good brightness, nice feel, but the binding is weak and overall presence is rather flimsy.

It seems like I'll now be living alone for over half the week. This means you people have to force me to leave the house by tempting me to the pub!

I don't start school till October, all of those in Londontown, lets go out!

I should probably also consider starting to read for my dissertation.... hello amazon book buying!
