Summertime on the riverfront in my beautiful hometown Duesseldorf... while Eastern, Southeastern and Southern Germany are suffering from some of the worst flooding in living memory, the Rhine looks broad as the Mississippi here, but it hasn't flooded the city.

Whew, what a rainy weekend this has been! And while it was bad here in Berlin, some southeasterly parts of Germany are virtually under water by now, poor souls. Lucky me, instead of having to fill sandbags or shovel mud out of my living room, was able to waste my time more happily by making some admittedly primitive Rexx fan art
