I have been really busy with work lately and haven't had too much time to catch up. Everyone keeps telling me I'm burning the candle at both ends, but sometimes I don't know how to do it any other way. My creative project blog has kind of taking a backseat to actual work that pays recently and that is what has led me to be burnt out I think.

As for my other passion, does anyone have tickets to Gotye in February at the El Rey? I will definitely be there. His music has really been one of my favs for the last 3 years. I am glad he is getting the recognition he deserves.

So I have learned my lesson not to get into a fight with one of my power tools. They tend to win always.


The real sad part about this. I was working on a job that I was only making 500 on and with the medical bills from the stiches and getting them removed I worked for free. I have a close friend that is a doctor and so I sent her a pic of my injury right after it happened and asked if she could stitch it up for me. She came over with stitches and stuff but when she saw it she thought there was nerve damage and made me go to emergency. I hate the fact even with insurance you have to pay so much for issues like this. No wonder everyone hates doctors. It is not the doctor they hate it's the price.
In other news life seems to be going good, even with cutting myself. I have started enjoying everyday like it could be my last because I have had way too many close calls in my life. I started a wine club with a couple friends and now there is about 14 of us that go out to different wine bars every other week or so. Alright enough rammbling for now.

This week in review. Went to the Hospital for someone other than my friend, me. Two slipped discs in my back, two cortizone shots, and a shit load of vicodin makes everything better. Pain is only in our heads. I made this yesterday to sooth my mind and let me forget. It's funny how doing what you have passion for makes everything come into place.

This has been the best day ever. I finally got some sleep last night, just found out that a good friend of mine is coming to visit next week, and a project I am working on the contract just got signed by the owners this morning. It's about time for some good news coming my way. If I can only convince one of my friends to go out partying tonight it might be perfect.



I made this today out of an old coffee mug and some tulip wood I had left over from a project. It turned out pretty good I think. It's all about trying new stuff

So, my first attempt at a blog. I know i'm new to all things SG but have been on here a while and think this place is amazing. I have met some really cool people and like to thank those that know what I am going through now. It is a great community and I am glad to be a part. Lighter news I am going to see my tattoo artist the 2nd week of October to finish my piece that is 10 years in the making. I had about 8 hours done 10 years ago and have finally made the follow up appointment. No need rushing into anything right?
