How is that proof? The whole thing leaves you questioning what to believe. Regardless of the incident being true or false if there was action to stop it why not try to help?

I get all that but even the snopes site (from what I read and I'm really ADD so I may have missed something) said most of it was just unconfirmed. If it was a hoax it seems very much like the Milgram Experiment, to see how far people will go in the face of authority, or in this case how much people will tolerate for the sake of art. But if it isn't a hoax it's all still very circular because it could be real and the hoax pages could be set up to play into the art show of believing everything you read. I'm still very confuseled...
