At rock on the range this weekend. Korn was awesome, the crowd is crazy, and the wife is at home. I feel right at home with you crazy crowd surfers and moshing brothers. One more day of this crazy shit and can't wait. Stone Sour was great. Billy Corgan and the Pumpkins didn't disappoint while they refused to play a lot of their old songs and played a lot of the new album. Nice to heat the new shit live even if the rest of crowd was being fucking shitty about it. Bring on Sevendust, in this moment, device, bush, alice in chains and of course Soundgarden today.

Washington DC was loads of fun, but why do I always come back sick?

Makes you feel really good when after a show strangers come up and tell you how much they love the band. Awesome show with Lacuna Coil last night. It will be worth how I feel going into work today.

Just found my band Unbroken Silence will be opening for Lacuna Coil when they come through Louisville for a show. First big show for the band. Looking forward to actually playing in front of a crowd of more than 50 people again. Hopefully we find some new fans too.

My band had our first radio appearance Thursday on our local station. We played four songs broken down and acoustic. I was nervous as hell and made a few mistakes, but overall it was pretty awesome. I however still think I sound like a tool when I talk, which is probably why I always let the guitar do the talking. Recording my bands music has almost made me hate it completely. I think I need like a month long break from it all. All of them maybe. In the end it doesn't really matter, its not like I am recording for anyone other than us. At least we didn't spend a pretty penny at a studio. And I have gotten decent quality for a Garageband setup. I am sure in a few weeks I will enjoy what we accomplished more, but right now I am sick of hearing these songs in my head. Alright the complain fest has ended back to something more productive.
