Hello everybody peeps!
Well Ive been signed off work for 2 weeks as the tendons in my wrists are shot,cant really grip things & have trouble (read pain) in lifting/moving them.
So,Ive been enjoying the weather we've been having.

Today I took Austin for a walk to the local nature reserve, we had a good time playing 'Pooh sticks' in the stream & then we fed the ducks.






We also went to the playpark so he could have a go on the jungle gym.





I love getting out with him & just watching him explore as he's so inquisitve!

So,daughter entered into the Southern Regionals Karate Tournament.
Very happy to say she got 2 Bronze medals!
1 for Team Kata,the other in Kumite (fighting)

Hi all.

Been out & about teaching Ally how to skate as she wants to try & get into roller derby.
Took a trip to the local skate park,a place I 1st hung out at in the early 80's!!! (Yes I am THAT old)

So I took a few pics as it hasn't really changed in all that time.

Hey All.
I REALLY need to get my ass in to gear & try & get fit.
Had a weekend away with a few friends,camped out under the stars, bit cold TBH but had a good time & next time I'm taking my Syncro camper van NOT a tent.
Anyway,we all took our mountain bikes & done some trail bashing,nothing too serious,only around 10/15 miles but MY GOD that saddle still feels like its attached to my butt!

Been doing stuff around the house for the past few months.
Ultimate plan is to have an ensuite in our bedroom & the loft boarded for a playroom.
As part of this remodelling we've been collecting vintage furniture & yesterday I went for a drive to get this for Ally as a late birthday pressie

Easter has been cancelled
Sick kids means all the things we had planned have been put off,looks like a weekend of DVD's pizza & ice cream.

Went & saw Eels perform this weekend with Ally & some friends.Jeez! Its been ages since we've been out as a couple.
Had a great time,really enjoyed ourselves.

Now its Monday & back to reality,teenage daughter has chicken pox & Im waiting to take her to the Dr's.

Weekend of awesome win!
Friday night the 4 of us got VERY VERY drunk,involved not leaving the pub until at least 1.30am.

Saturday I was 1st to rise (dont get hangovers!) took my friends dog for a walk & visited the local butchers for suppliesfor brekkie.
Smoked bacon,sausages & black pudding along with a loaf from the village bakers.
Then trip to Wychwood brewery with plenty of sampling going on.
We returned to base & proceeded to drink all the ale we brought from the brewery
Sunday the sun came out,so the trip home was done with the roof down on the cabriolet.

Yesterday was Ally's birthday, so lots of pressies & a fab meal cooked by eldest daughter.
Ally wanted skates,so thats what she got!
Now she's talking about going to a fresh meat session with the local roller derby team

Counting down the days to the weekend.
Got a road trip planned to meet up with some great friends.
Will update next week as it may well get messy!
