Maybe a little discussion of the use of DV. Personally, from the trailer at least, anything that's remotely well lit looks shit house in my opinion. The darker stuff is creepy and effective, though. I've heard a few people say that they sort of sink in to the DV look after about 20 minutes.

Secondly, does it work story wise? I love the premise but I fucking hate Laura Dern so how do you think it'll stack up?

Finally; does the story have a conclusion and/or tightly wrapped ending? shocked

While she does fuck it up in a few ways, it's the way she played (and sang...my God!) the song when I saw her last summer. And beautiful. Or, thus beautiful. One of the two.

(P.S. Thanks for the term 'short form director'. Unlike most, I don't want to think of music pieces and commercials as something else entirely.)
