It's been so drizzly today, I could really go for a hot chocolate, a good cuddle under a warm blanket and someone to read a story to me....hmmm, Treasure Island would be cool.

I realize that I have been completely avoiding working on my jewelry website for a while now. I have all the pictures together, but am finding it so difficult to write the...

Circuit bending demos last night!!
My favorite projects: Blue Man Group keyboard with optical trigger pipes, I didn't even know they made those, and a Rudolph reindeer with Barbie legs!
First to make some jewelry and then I think I'm going to watch Where the Wild Things Are, I've been looking forward to it for a while. And maybe play a little Left 4 Dead...

I gotta be honest I didn't understand 1/2 of this blog..but the part I care about was that you are happy and that makes me biggrin
Maybe I will watch that movie too!! Good idea!! kiss
ivyarcana:
Sorry, just got so excited, I forgot to explain.
Circuit bending is when you get right down into the circuitry of a toy or musical instrument that has a sound component. The best ones are from the '80's, like the "Speak and Spell" and toys like Furbies.
Essentially it is just messing about with the wiring and such so that you can create all kinds of bizarre noises and things. Really, really fun!
The picture is of the Blue Man Group keyboard opened up and being worked on.
Enjoy your evening! smile

Ahhh, back on my bike again, I hope the weather stays like this for while, but it looks like we've got some rain coming. I'm really looking forward to having a fabulously firm, summer ass again!!

Trying to decide, what's cuter for a bikini, vintage leopard print or skulls hmmmm....

Craft shows start up again in a month, I can't wait to start making, selling...

Def,.vintage leopard..you see too many skulls on any teeny bopper..it takes a real women to wear animal print!!
I would love to get into doing craft shows..I have that problem ..I think it may be medical..that I very rarely finish a project that I start or I finish one and then am left with endless craft supplies that I don't have the gumption to work on!!
It snowed here today so no bike riding for me!! Take an extra lap around the block for me!!
tanukis:
i want to ride my bike so badly. still to snowy here.

Enjoying a cup of tea, a handful of chocolate chips and some Suicide Girls, a good way to end the day. : )
I know it's only March, but I'm thinking I might be Black Widow for Halloween this year. It'll take a while to make the costume, so I'll have to get started early. I love Halloween!!
heartbaker:
Mmm chocolate chips sounds good
david_prophet:
I love Halloween too and I think you'd make a great Black Widow. You'll have to post pictures of the costume's progress.

So pleased that Christoph Waltz won for best supporting actor last night. Inglourious Basterds was amazing, and his performance was superbly, disturbingly delicious!
Looking forward to hauling my black beauty of a bicycle out of my kitchen tomorrow, where it has been cooped up for the winter, I'll try to get in at least a quick ride after work. I really can't believe the weather...

Thoroughly enjoyed the Alkaline Trio show last night, followed by an evening of bizarre people, a mini club brawl and lots of dancing. Today was a glory of sleeping in, lounging around in bed, fresh, fabulous strawberries, good espresso and more of this amazing sunshine. Delightful.
I'm really not looking forward to work tomorrow, I just received my new jewelry supplies and would definitely rather...

I've decided that the only rational thing thing to do on this glorious day is to ditch all commitments, abandon all plans and spend the day on a patio in the sun.

Spent the day making ball gags and the evening at the art gallery. Ahhh, I do enjoy my culture in a full spectrum of flavours.

I think I'd be warmer living in an ice hut.
Maybe a big bowl of noodles and some Sam & Max comics will make me feel better!

They helped a little, thanks. I baked some chocolate chip oatmeal cookies that helped immensely as well. smile
If you like Sam & Max, you will love the games. The play and dialogue are fabulously true to form! They are pretty challenging, but if you like puzzle based games at all you'll definitely dig them.
Have a lovely day!
nghtdvl:
Hehehe!, I know what you mean - chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are my favorite go-to thing when I'm bummed at work. Granted they are from a vending machine, so by all means not as satisfying as the home-made stuff, but they still keep me going.

Wow, great for Sam & Max, I didn't expect such a stellar review! I really love challenging puzzles, the sense of reward is much greater than when just achieving what amounts to some perfectly timed button presses in some other games. Well, I must admit I still like those too, in the end. smile

Thanks, have a great day too!

Jasmine tea, laundry and working on a new line of jewelry for spring. Listening eagerly for the postman, awaiting the arrival of my new metal punch, I want to get started!!
Not offering any inspiration or encouragement, the cats are lounging by the radiator which has been hissing and gurgling all morning.
I'm so looking forward to tomorrow, I can't wait to see what Jen...
