most humbling moment: Watching how my mum copes day after day with the weight of the world on her shoulders, and yet she still has time to give a crap about my pontless exploits. She makes me proud every day.
makes me sad: Being told off, not having any coffee in the house, having to get out of bed, racists, homophobes, Michael Winner, Nazis.... And parsley. Seriously, all restaurants automatically assume I love parsley. I'm considering having a t shirt printed.
makes me happy: Being around my lovely chap, bopping like a maniac to pop music, getting four aces on the flop, smoking in the sunshine with my lovely friends, being in nature, sleeping...
into: Heavy metal, so called 'post metal' (which I consider to be very 'during metal', but never mind), playing my glorious bass, films, computer games, comics...
gets me hot: My man, controlled violence, privately public places.
See, that's the thing. I'm just not interesting. I am in the real world, where people bond over mundane things like using the same sort of fucking body spray, but not here on the internet, where people need....more, really. I can't generally bond over music, because most people have very definite ideas about what music makes a person worthwhile or not: I'm guilty of that myself, having a long standing aversion to HIM fans. The problem there is I like very disparate styles of music- I'm in what can only be described as a soundscape metal band, and listen to a lot of very heavy music, but I'm also partial to a bit of Sophie ellis Bextor when the mood strikes.
It's a bind.
So just to keep people happy with my level of absolute pointlessness, I'm going to add one of the many, many photos my phone's camera has allowed me to take.
