i'm pretty happy. my world isn't falling apart. hubby was here n we painted n decorated. place looks super cute. pets are doing well. work is good, have had 5 days off in a row and i feel unemployed. grandma's house looks like it's finally going to be sold, so that'll be good.

had the husband back for almost 9 full days, and i didn't work any of em!
we managed to put a tile back splash in the kitchen without killing each other. although he is not allowed to grout, as he sucks at it, and i'm awesome at it.
we put up our xmas tree, and finished the gift shopping/wrapping for all the family members, incl. my future niece who's still cooking. baby clothes are so damn cute.
we adopted a kitten, her name is Macy. don't think we've ever known a cat who is so happy to just lay in your lap for hours. she's missing a piece of her left ear...which makes her all cute n deformed.
hubby got me my own S&W bodyguard 38... i fucked that zombie up at the range, self horn tooting.
it was a very good visit. can't wait til it's for keeps.

You are definitely drunk people food. It isn't a bad thing. However....when you put your heating instructions on the actual container I am putting into the microwave, you do me a disservice. Like many inebriated people, my short term memory is not so great. Therefore, you force me to guess that anywhere between 3-8 minutes is the correct cooking time for my brunch. Yeah. fuck you. brunch.
at least put the directions on your lil powdered cheese packet, fuckface.

the husband would like a zombie apocalypse kit for christmas.... what should i put in it? we've already got a shotgun, i'll be getting a handgun soon. obviously i'll put ammo, canned foods, can opener in it...batteries...etc...but what else?
