I am a writer/director best known for my documentary Vanishing of the Bees - narrated by Ellen Page. In my wondrous career, I've worked with bands like No Doubt and the White Stripes, done advertising gigs, comedy, and cinematography. But these days my film work is principally environmentally related. I live in the woods in Topanga and grow veggies and keep bees. I impress even the most distinguished palates with my famous vegan cooking, relish working with power tools & dancing up a sweat. I adore the outdoors, all varieties of critters, music, movies, yoga, art and books. I have my foot in many camps and some of my best friends are bohemians living in a yurt and some are millionaires with houses on the beach Malibu. This variety of interests goes back to my youth when I played bass in a punk rock band while also serving as Captain of the debate team.
