okay, disclaimer: this is not something i came up with. it is a tiny dylan thomas line-
time held me green and dying,
though i sang in my chains like the sea.

i think i am going out to the bay today, maybe berkley or san fransisco. i need to get out...

go for it,, im rooting for you.... Working in shelters can really suck,, but its worth while... alot of times there is suffering that you can alieveiate, that otherwise would go on, un checked. unfortunitly this meens you might have to witness things you would rather not,,,, someone has to bare witness if horrible acts of abuse and exploitation are going to come to an end.

you know i am always amazed at how fundamentalists will try to poke and prod any evidence to fit their arguments and "prove" what is overall a belief. and that is what pisses me off about them most of all... that and they always talk about fearing "god" i fucking hate that

being the generous creature I am, having money affords me the necessary means to give and give. That's just how I am.

Well, I wish you much luck on the book, despite the intrusions of school and such, atleast your mind numbing Video Game slinging job won't way you down.

what are you shooting for (final page count wise)? I'm sure you'll hit a flow any day now!
asvetic:
yes, it appears that we are on at the exact same time, only I'm 3 hours ahead of you, so bend that one around for a moment.

International Time Zones are facinating.

Jonah sat on the quiet of his roof, smoking the last in his pack of Persephones and enjoying the ashy air, which hung all around him. He sat with his knees to his chest, but Lily Red dangled her own unknowable legs over the side of the building. He told her she was going to fall, but she just rolled her eyes at him and...

long or small your entries are just the right size, except when they're too hard or too cold, then they aren't and then this bear came in to my bar and he was like did you realize you have this long run-on sentence and I just looked at the bear and was like wow he's right and he can talk. i am a follower. SHEEP SHEEP.
here's my damn poem:

The Man, The Woman in the Airport

They whisper the painted brands to each other
the man turns the words into silly phrases
while his wife licks her lips
at the thought of sliding through the sky in that silver ingot.
They rub their hairless knees
as their seats ascend
and the curve of the...

You know what I want? Celeste asked.
What?
Vegetables. I would love some broccoli. I havent had broccoli in forever. Jonah smiled at her and it was a smile without pretension.
I honestly cant remember the last time I had broccoli either. Jonah actually couldnt remember the last time he had eaten a vegetable, but he didnt want to alarm her. The sky cracked. Jonah...

question of the day:
who, besides me, gets attracted to fictional characters, ie: jay gatsby, johnny the homacidal mainiac or vincent valentine? is this just my own personal malady?

ill have to check out that mitford book. it sounds like something i would be into. plus its an author ive never read before and theres never anything wrong with exploration.

i totally feel you on the crush on fictional characters. i think probably the root of the attraction is that an author will design characters with predominant traits they admire and despise. for instance if an author has a certain fetish or multiple attractions they would possibly write a character encompassing all the traits and exemplify them in a positive way creating the perfect character. ive often found characters in books to be personifications of perfection or derelection. i thik gatsby is a great example.

Yea you should definitely start riding! I'll be waiting for ya.

Burning Man starts next Monday.. I'll be leaving on saturday.. and it ends the following Monday, something like that.. and yes you most definitely have to have a ticket.. but prices @ the door are the most expensive. They encourage people to buy their tickets early, I got mine for 200... at the door i think they're 300$. =(

i am currently looking for someone to illustrate my novel therefore making it into a comic book. i rode my bike all over town putting fliers with (gasp) my home phone number on them looking for artists. luckily, i am a smartie and i put the marginally masculine name 'jay" on them so that creepy guys won't see that it is a girl's number. it's...

im glad you enjoyed the story, i have always liked to think of sepiroth as niether good nor evil, just neutral, a man with a part to play.

and putting deadlines on writing can be a bad thing, i did that to myself and havent even tried to write anything in years, it frustrated me too much. (although part of it was i was never happy with what i wrote).

oh yeah, and i almost forgot, i wanted to ask if i could use/borrow/steal, the term videogameslinging, i love it so much, and would love to use it.

AHHHH! I'm your current crush! I'm honored. You're mine too. He he. I've won a few art awards, but I don't think you want me. I'm a wiz at procrastination. Yeah, you gotta chill out, man. If I stress about my writing, I don't write as good.
