today is the fisrt time i have worn socks since last winter.
there are two blankets on my bed now. it's cold in here, but the heat is not going on until i can't stand it any longer.

Oh yes, and to answer your question, I think it is technically possible to love more than one person ... but of course that's different than fully realizing/pursuing the feeling romantically, which is far too consuming to do with more than one person.
onetruesephiroth:
I don't think a person can love two people at once, but only because I don't know that people really know what love is...

But then again, I'm slighty jaded and bitter, but if you think about it how does a person really judge wether or not they're in love, and what that word really mean to them (sorry, I didn't mean to get all depressing)

F. Scott Fitzgerald

In the photo
F. Scott Fitzgerald reads a book
silently
seventy-nine years ago.

Words have been written
trying to scrape out the insides of his skull
trying to pull a small layer
from that brain made of tightly packed petals.

He turns a page
and grave dust falls into the eye of the lens
obscuring a tiny birthmark
that was once found...

You can't have a problem with living. Living is passive. It's not something that we do, it's something that just is. At least, that's what I've come to believe.

Yeah, Mifune is the guy who is chief of the Samurai. I haven't seen Shogun in so very long, I've forrgotten.

I wish I knew more about F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Creative Writing major and Japanese minor, sounds like fun. No seriously, it does, when I thought I wanted to make Video Games for a living those were two aspects I gave serious thought into studing, but now that I've all but dropped out of my classes...

So just out of curiosity which FFX-2 character reminds you of you, Yuna, Rikku, or Paine?

in honor of everyone liking the changing seasons as much as i do here's a fall poem, as inspired by asvetic's journal
Time of Day

Two years ago there was no need to write the poem
the sound of the girl moving her feet
like dry leaves across the pavement was enough.
Now the noise aches
and even though it hasnt rained yet, he feels...

Sorry H.S. and all that visit my journal...I changed my poem, and this one does not reflect the changing season nor was it the inspiration for such a cathartic poem.

Sorry, if that throws anyone off.

i am flattered
my friend patric (those of you who went to the sgsac bbq know him as the attractive, lanky chain-smoker) is going to do some art based on my book!!! he looks like the main character, jonah, anyway.
slowly i am getting back into it after a few week delay. sometimes writing is easy, like sleeping when you're tired and sometimes it feels...

yes, please continue and complete (and ultimately publish) your book. I'd love to be able to *purchase* a copy for my own personal enjoyment!

The Changes: I like that, and I like them

I am also venturing into creativity once again...though I do enjoy my new found love of poetry, I think I need something a bit more physically and well as mentally and spiritually involved. I was able to retrieve a few (large) pieces of glass from work (we're remodeling) and I'm going to attempt to paint them. So, I hope that works well for me. we'll see...as soon as I start!

I'll be in San Franfrantastic tnext weekend from Friday night to Sunday night, and then I'll be back on the 7th-9th of November for the SG Disneyland thing. How for do you live from San Fran?

Where are my pictures already? *taps fingers impatiently on desk*

My favorite season is fall.. because the temperature is still nice outside, and yet you still get to wear a hoodie or something like that and be comfortable. I like th leaves falling and when it starts to get grey outside.

The Unbearable Loneliness of Anarchy

There are things inside of him
that would make him walk to Omaha
to find a friend.
He is brilliant and bitter
and ready to love,
knocking around in towns
where the roads reach away from him
like parabolas
and...

i'd be a male version of cayce p from gibson's 'pattern recognition'. she's too cool.

i'm not sure if people take the site too seriously or not. on one hand, i want to tell people to get a goddamn life because it's only the internet... but i also think that the connections people make on sg and the internet in general can be very real, so i can understand hurt feelings and anger. i think if you see something you don't like either in real life or on the internet, it's very easy to either walk away from it or blow it completely out of porportion and cause a scene. if someone really thinks it is worth causing a scene... well, i probably won't pay attention unless i think it was worth a scene too.

i'm writing again. here's a segment:

Quite far above them, a guardian silently died. She (they were made to look female, for reasons so quaint there was no longer a language for them) let her internal circuitry fade in sections inside of her, as they had once glowed to life, one by one. She could feel herself dying; years of nothing but the wind and...
