For the first few weeks of the year I was building puppets (and subsequently puppeteering) for a music video for the song "Higher" by Philly locals AlyCat. Check check it...

For some reason, I can put this video up all over the place but not on here...go figure.
Puppeteering is always fun but this in time specifically was the best. A lot of crawling around on the floor with my assistant, getting soaked with blue booze (on the first night of shooting, mouthwash on the following nights), a hella metric shit ton of drunk people stepping on me, AlyCat are some awesome people. Other stuff.
Fun.

Holy shit. I haven't made a post in like 3 months. Crazy.
I have been super busy the past few months with freelance work. Photos, illustrations, film work, puppets, puppeteering, graphic design. Way too much work. Worst of all, After a month an a half of nonstop work (clocking about 5-10 hours of sleep a week) I find out this past Monday that I've secretly had a walking pneumonia which has now transitioned into your standard cold.
I guess expect mass art dumps over the next week as well as links to my portfolios and website (all currently under construction).

Oh shit. I work too much. I work 3 jobs, 7 days a week and the only night I get off (last night), I fall asleep by 8pm. Lame.

There are about 10 or 12 more puppets hanging out at my apartment, plus about 10 more that I have made for other people and commissions. I'll get the real pictures up here sometime soon. Promise.

I am so hungry.
Someone should bring me some pizza. And yes, I know it's not even 10 in the morning yet...but pizza.
I am working on 2 puppets for a commission for this dude that is starting a new sketch comedy group. One is a big monster, Muppet-style. The second is a puppet of this dude. I will post pictures later (but knowing me, I probably won't).
I am also seamstressing for the most awesomest, No. 1 Haunted Attraction in America, Terror Behind the Walls. It's like a paid internship. I'm helping to make those cats look good.
Speaking of Terror Behind the Walls, you should check it out. It's totes legit.
A better blog should probably follow this.

I have taken part in a handful of photoshoots, mostly head shots and a few fashion shoots. I really like shooting. It's pretty fun but I really miss using my fisheye, that's my baby. It's a Nikon 10.5mm fisheye, not an attachment or a circular wide angle. I need to find more punk rocky shoots or some shows to shoot. The last time I used it was for a party at Eastern State Penitentiary, it makes dancing people look awesome. Anyways...
