I am a lot of things. Sure, it's easy to say it. Human beings all are. We're filled with complex emotions we don't always understand. Some of us filled with peculiar senses of ego-centrism that dominate our thoughts. Such is my plight from time to time. Frankly, sometimes I find it hard to think about other people. Such is life. Moving on.

One of my...

Good luck with the business venture. Focus.

Anyway. Yeah, I've been lusting after the macbook and after spending a weekend using my buddies up in Boston I think I'm gonna take the plunge. Le Sigh to money spent but I can't wait to kick this hunk of shit to the closet.

I just pre-ordered 1 of 250 Apples in Stereo "Super Fan" packs for their new album New Magnetic Wonder due out February, 6th 2006. I'll be getting the LP, the CD, a signed Poster and a limited edition t-shirt. All for $55. You can tell, The Apples are the kind of band that love their fans. This is the coolest album launch I think my...

I made it to Canada in 4.5 hours. Mom #2 got a speeding ticket, but otherwise, everything was fabulous.

Yeah, 4.5 hours. Now you feel like you can visit, huh?

I can't sleep. Anyway, I figure killing time here is just as good as killing time anywhere. And this is cheaper than ebay. So, I'll get this out of the way.

I hate lyric posts in journals. Even though I'm guilty as fuck of them. I mean, really, how many people actually read the lyrics? How many people even listen to lyrics when they listen...

Oh yeah, just lyrics doesn't really get a song over. I'm mp3-site-ignorant, so I like to put up lots of YouTube videos to get a song over. That YouTube is great. Wish they had up a few more videos, indie-label 80s stuff or "Truth Is Out of Style" by 900 Ft Jesus, but they have lots.

Hey, I'm weird and fucked up. You love me!

I always listen to lyrics.

I've determined that eating the red ones last is both very hard and very time consuming. Even if Jesse isn't going to walk by my office, I think I'll stick to my time-honored "all in hand, then all in mouth" eating style.

Happy Halloween(ish).

The ANSWER to THE QUESTION of WHY?

I laugh very easily. Ask anyone who knows me. The above mini-movie made me teary eyed. I'm not longing for Family Guy. Or this newfangled YouTube thing. I do love me some teary eyed laughter though. It's the best kind. It's what makes getting out of bed. Well, you get it.

Anyway, I've been watching Firefly the...

Yes, but you have to step up and ask for something. What is it that you want for it? Another Dunny? A different toy? What? Want the 'Bubble Is Love' Dunny? Come on! Think fast! Think fast! Time is money!

I have a newfound sense of awe and respect for this entire website right now. I don't expect it to last, of course. I'm just saying. Rad.

Tonight on the #4 bus, Elvis complimented me on my sideburns. I feel like I have fulfilled all of my Portland credentials. No matter where I go in life, I'll always be a Portlander.

Good night everybody.

I think you getting a sideburns compliment would kinda be like Elaine Benes getting a compliment on how she looks in a leotard. It's no surprise to get a compliment- of course your sideburns look great.

I'm not sure about manners vs rudeness in Portland, but Craigslist sure does generate people who are hard to gauge. I.e. the rudeness factor has been low for me, the unpredictability factor has been waaay high.

Dude. People here are super duper mega polite compared to east coaster folk. I came here and nearly lept out of my skin when a stranger first said "hello" to me.
