Wha-hey! It's another blog update!
SO my band has a singer! He's done pretty much everything we've asked of him and we got along really well within the first couple days of auditions. He's directly inspired writing on a new song which is begging to be another 6-minutes-or-more track... wonder how many of those work on an album. I mean, prog-rock bands get away with it all the time, and hell, "Jesus of Suburbia" tops out at, what? Nine minutes for a punk song? I guess as long as they stay interesting, it's all good.
Finished up lyric writing on "Roses" and "Morbid Apollo". That makes seven finished songs with finished lyrics, one instrumental, three finished songs with incomplete lyrics, and approximately four or five ideas still in "The Werks", not counting anybody else's ideas, of which I know there are plenty.
Good god, I need to be back on stage. I've been in a dismal mood for the last year and a few months, and I've needed a major reboot of the systems, so to speak.
I really can't wait!!!
TAKE LUCK!

I did, too. There was a two year gap between this group and the old one. Kinda miss those days sometimes, but I'm really excited for this band's future. Updates as they come; we're trying to get our hands on a soundboard so we can track a couple demos without spending an arm and a leg for studio time.
What kind of band were you in, Posca?
