So while venturing this awesome website, I realized that I should probably add more to my profile and such so I'm gonna do that mostly in blogs because I am a writer, poet, and artist at heart and can articulate who I am more clearly in the form of long rambles than any other way. Well if you can't tell by my name I am a graffiti artist and here's a hip-hip/spoken word poem I wrote about my love of the Art OF Vandalism:
Graffiti's the way our youth can portray our ubiquitous suffocation and physical frustration,
they buff today but we come back back tomorrow, there's too much sorrow being in and outta court,
they distort the thought that art IS free but it hasn't been done to me or my committee, obviously we're C.H.I. City,
we Create History Indefinitely by passionately making art sicker than fashion quickly,
you can't fathom our dedication to this work, we were set on this earth to re-birth hip-hop and spit verses,
taking ya'll to unknown universes now don't try to curse this, your attempts are worthless,
we'll be at the tip top, not hidden like pictures of sick spots, the pics are, shit, locked.
but all the worse yet, the cops aren't diversified and they're all versed in publicly hurting the one skurting cuz their fatass had to run, it's almost a pun but imagine how fun a graffiti world would be, there'd always be some shit to see, there'd always be some shit to read, maybe then the ignorant minds might set their sights on we, the CHI City. We're interesting and come ready we're too steady to let shit BE and while speaking words of wisdom we try to set ya'll free.
