This weeks @bloghomework has me thinking about how much TV I've been watching lately. I think this list is going to look pretty basic around here but if @rambo wants to know what I'm watching, by the gods she's going to get the straight shit. So here is said straight shit (don't you just love alliterative profanity?).
Current Shows
1. Better Call Saul - every bit as good as Breaking Bad. I can't wait to see where this leads.
2. Walking Dead - Curse this infernal show for making me look forward to the end of the weekend!
3. Game of Thrones - Great writing, wanton violence and T&A galore. Who could ask for more?
4. True Detective - I dare them to top season one.
5. Falling Skies - or as I like to refer to it, "The Poor Man's Walking Dead"
Netflix Binges
1. Dexter - Watched 8 years in 4 months. I was approximately 3 weeks younger when it was over. And BTW, worst fucking series finale in the history of... history. I was going to say "television" but that just wouldn't cut it.
2. Orange is the New Black - great show so far. The last season finale was the shit. "She was a very rude person."
3. Parks and Recreation - wherein Nick Offerman spends six seasons playing himself. He and Ron Swanson are one and the same. He's even married to Tammy #1 in RL "Just bring me all the bacon and eggs you have. No, no, wait... I worry what you heard was, 'Bring me a lot of bacon and eggs.' What I said was, 'Bring me all the bacon and eggs you have.' Do you understand?"
4. Breaking Bad - Watched the entire series after the last episode premiered. I so prefer watching shows after they've had their full run. That way if the finale sucks as much turgid donkey cock as Dexter's it's not a major loss.
And finally, my DVD collection binges:
Twilight Zone
King of Queens
In Search Of...
Cosmos (Sagan)
Freaks and Geeks (a show that ended WAY too early)
Fawlty Towers
The Sopranos (I've watched this entire series at least six times, god help me...)
Yes, I watch a lot of TV. I'm also self-employed with a growing list of passive income streams. Life is good and so is TV. Unless we're talking about the last episode of Dexter which sucks the fleas off a baboon's balls, but I think I mentioned that (or used words to that effect).
