BUT - for right now, I'm just gonna make it quick.

I got a new baby - but NOT a replacement!
Just couldn't take the emptiness at the apartment, and really needed some company
she's a cutie, though

Dobby will always be my number one hammy, but I'm gonna love this new baby with my whole heart!

I don't really have any great pics yet, but this is what I have so far...
You can't tell so much from the pictures, but she is the TINIEST thing!
and she's pretty darn cute, if I can say so myself...

If anybody reads this, I need help picking out a new name...

P.S. She has ALREADY escaped once from her cage!! I spent all night looking for her, but she's safe now! She's gonna be a sneaky little thing, I believe!

Saying goodbye is the worst feeling ever!




A lot of people have thought, oh she's just a furry little "rodent" or something...big deal... blah, blah


To Me - She was special. And losing her is a big deal.

So Dobby was "just a hamster". I still loved her a lot. She was my comfort, she always kept me company and could easily bring a smile to my face.
Dobby was with me for over two years. Ever since I started out on my own, she's been there.
It was always so cool to come home and see her hopping up on her hind legs to greet me, wanting to be picked up. (or at least that's what I choose to believe she wanted)
Now... the apartment just seems empty without her.
I'm empty without her. Ok, maybe it's not just losing her that makes me feel empty, but it sure didn't help.

So, think me silly if you want to, but I'm just super bummed out right now...


For all you guys who always commented on Dobby's pictures, told me how cute she was, and often asked about her - thanks.
