yes thats right, i have heat AND electricity AND hot water, unlike the last place i was staying. spiffy! i just got done shampooing the last carpet. its taken me awhile because my last few weekends were too busy to do anything. the shitty part is i may need to have some pro's come in and do it again because they are still fucked up. or maybe ill skip that and just tear out all the carpet and redo the hardwood underneath. thats a project for a warmer time though!
ive been sick sick sick since wednesday. i blame my job. working for the worlds 3rd largest creator of vaccines has its downfalls. the facility im at manufactures all sorts of unsavory diseases in order to create the vaccines. just imagine what can happen if someone doesnt wash their hands!
not too much else is new. my father got his pacemaker put in on monday. the operation went decently well except for some things they had to do differently because of his condition. the right side of his heart is so scarred from the heart attack that they couldnt get a signal from the pacemaker through it, so they had to hook it up 'backwards' with the less important wire hooked to the scar tissue. they also had to install the pacemaker on the right side of his chest, not above his heart like usual. this is also because of the scar tissue from the 3 or 4 times they cut into his chest following the initial surgery to fix things they fucked up.
