A quick run down of the past seventy two hours....

1) Decided I'm moving out of state. Possible Georgia... maybe... because I...

2) Found a way to end my lease and escape!!!!!! .... maybe..

3) TOTALLY thought I was having a heart attack- but found out it was just a wasp being very friendly

4) Discovered my "foo-foo" drinks were being consumed by a man "too manly" to drink them in public...which made no sense. If it smells bad and tastes bad, don't drink it... and if it tastes delicious, at least save me some!!!!!

...so yeah...nothing too wild...

Just wanted to say hello

I'm just going to stop saying when I'll be back. As the saying goes, "Man plans, God laughs."

Hmm... where to start... I wanted to quit both of my jobs and almost did. I'm not one for dishonesty- but when is it okay to withhold information from the people that need to know? It's one of the few things I don't like about my job, but it was enough on it's own to make me consider leaving..

...and then I figured if I left one, why not the other? I love the people I work with, but the pay wouldn't have been worth the drive anyway...

and of course my lease is coming up, and I don't want to give up my home... but do I really want to put up with this place for another year? Move back home, get my stuff together, focus on school for a change... I really wouldn't need two jobs to do that, one would be plenty..

I took some time to think about my priorities. I thought about where I wanted to be within a year, five years, ten years and so on. And I realized that here is where I want to be.. and I can't quit until I find something better.. so it's just a matter of sucking it up and carrying on. I don't make the rules, but it's my job to uphold them...and now I'm on a bit of a mini vacation, so the objective is to relax and enjoy it..

The lazy week was wonderful!





I got an early birthday gift from my buddy


and then I bought a really early one for myself


And now I'm going to continue enjoying this time off..ish.

mmm... glad I got that off my chest.

One month away... well, not entirely away... but not as dedicated as I should have been.

I'll actually post something substantial tomorrow... just thought I'd drop in and say hey. Hope all is going well!!!

I've never bought a game for myself. Ever. If anything, they've made really awesome gifts that I sometimes was allowed to play... but this one had to be mine..



I love me some Batman.

I almost got another cat too. It's a toss up between the "lover" that didn't want to be touched, or the terribly shy one that wanted attention... It should be a no brain'er, but after meeting them, it's a tough call.

I figure I'll go fight some clowns for now.

I feel like I've tripped, but I haven't stopped falling... as if I managed to slip through a wormhole where time has slowed and I'm able to see every little detail of the world around me, but I can't stop falling... I've yet to decide if I'm excited or concerned by it, but as a new start to the year, I'm going to enjoy the trip.

On that note, I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year!

Mine was spent watching Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Definitely need to read the book.
