Typical day at the office: Work until six, then hit up some Cramer while working, then go home.

So im decidedly replacing my bulbs oer time with the money flourescent bulbs that use less energy. It's fucking win-win. I never have to change them, they save energy not only directly, but also they help cut down on the air conditionings.
Good times.
Also, went to ikea and got a nice table to hold my LCD, reciever and all the assorted gaming consoles. Overall, the goings are good.

Been busy like whoa this week
Got a new job at a management consulting corp. More money than should be legal for a college student to make, flexible hours, interesting work. All of the people working are really bright. A mix of computer science, economics, finance etc. I was at dinner with a bunch of them yesterday, and mentioned how I maybe wanted to get my series 7 and be a trader. All of them had their series 7, and had worked at brokerages. Super awesome. They told me how they might expand their operations into a capital management company, so if I play my cards right, I can get two years consulting experience, come out of college, sit for the series 7 exam, work with them, then pretty much have a jump start on all the other college grads. Maybe ill even get both financial economics and accounting majors for double threat
Of course, the downside of the money making is that the past few days have been wake up at 7AM, come back home at 9PM, wash, rinse, repeat. At least they have been cool about throwing down for nice dinners.
I could definitely get used to making money.

This is seriously one of my new favorite movies:
Xavier: If I think about all the girls I've known or slept with or just desired, they're like a bunch of Russian dolls. We spend our lives playing the game dying to know who'll be the last, the teeny-tiny one hidden inside all the others. You can't just get to her right away. You have to follow the progression. You have to open them one by one wondering, "Is she the last one?"

Xavier: What's all this shit about love? How do we get so nuts? The time we waste! When you're alone, you cry, "Will I find her?" When you're not- "Does she love me as much as I love her?" "Can we love more than one person in a lifetime?" Why do we split up? All these fucking questions! You can't say we're uninformed. We read love stories, fairy tales, novels. We watch movies. Love, love, love...!
Isabelle: You could just call her back

It's so wierd changing my profile to reflect all the changes in my life since ive been gone.
-I've become a huge fan of good food and wine
-no mo girlfriend (bollocks to jealousy)
-I no longer dress "punk", i guess I am too cool for it now. Now I shop at H&M all the time and try to look all professional
-No more Mandys in my life
-etc etc
Im a bit better a bit worse off, hopefully things will go along nicely from here on outs
