Well I went to see Transformers last night. I really really wanted to like it. I walked out feeling not so satisfied, and then my wife asked me what I thought. Apparently I thought it sucked, I went on about a 10 minute diatribe about all I found wrong with it.

So far I seem to be in the minority so don't listen to this biter old fool whose childhood memories were dragged through the mud.
Go see it yourself and enjoy what may be a darn fine action movie. As long as you don't have any desire to see the "Transformers" themselves developed as any sort of character.

Another week, I'm really happy I am home instead of being in Chicago. My daughter gets baptized this weekend, which is a source of some tension but it will pass.
I had to attend Church yesterday and some sort of pre baptism class, yawn yawn yawn.

I was doing fine just zoning out during mass until the Priest decided to talk about the temptations of Abortion, Stem Cell research and Euthanasia and how we must resist them in order to have a better relationship with Christ.

I nearly threw up in my mouth.

Ah Saturday.

My Mother in law took our son last night to stay at her house so it is Just My wife the baby and I. I can sit back and watch Land of the Dead, drink some coffee and relax. I can't quite remember the last time I was able to do that in my own house.

I get to go to Sunny Tampa Florida soon for a few days, Some warmth will do me good. Then home for a week then in Chicago for a week.

I can't wait to get to Chicago. I love that city
