I hate the summer. If I could avoid being outside for any length of time I'm happy. Although, after walking across the city in the heat, everyday I get to work I'm a sweaty mess. Ick.
I didn't see Lady in the Water because of the reviews too. Which is a shame, because I had been looking forward to it.
We only got married this past Valentine's Day, so the husband thing is still relatively new. We went to Vegas and got married by Elvis, the only proper way to do it.

while i was sitting in the airport i got the new issue of blender magazine with owen wilson on the cover and it had a interview with David Johansen in it.
i go alot of places by myself. i have to just get away from everything every once in awhile.
i have alot better pictures on my memory cards but im saving them for last. i think i have about 400 pics from just the Neon Bonyard that i have to go through. im just being lazy right now and posting the little snapshots i took while wandering around.

There's an interview with Johansen in the newest issue of Bust. The man has gotten creepy with age. Wasn't even heavier for awhile? Now he's all thin and anorexic looking. But then, that seems to be the "look" in rock circles these days.

I went to see 'Nacho Libre' yesterday...it is SO funny! I guess it is aimed towards kids and it is tamed down a bit but still I loved it! I still haven't gone to see 'Strangers With Candy' yet, mostly because the closest theatre that is showing it is in Pasadena and that's like 30 minutes away and I can't justify spending money on gas...

the guy at the boneyard told me that alot of the old casinos on the strip are getting tore down to make way for condos and the new mege-plex casino/hotels that have all the big malls and stuff in them. they want everything to be like the mandalay bay, bellagio, and the wynn hotels. its sad but campy neon is on its way out of the vegas strip.
i saw on the net where the stardust is getting torn down this year and the guy at the boneyard said that he had heard that the tropicana, imperial palace, and some of the other older places were next.
at least the still have fremont street in downtown vegas. that place is where the party is every night with their foot long daiquiris and 50oz plastic footballs full of beer and the giant tv thing overhead
