Today, I live for me
I've said my goodbyes to the girl I once was. As of this point on, I will make sure I only receive what I deserve. I will no longer settle for less, as I've realized that I am worth far more.
I've had it with others constantly forcing things on me, ultimately 'molding' me how they see fit. From now on, I will not allow others to choose what's best for me. I will no longer let anyone dictate who I should be.
And for those who do nothing but disrespect me, my middle finger holds high. Regardless of whether you are my lover, my best friend, my sister or my mother, I assure you from this point on - things will change.
This is exactly how I want things to be. 'Could' and 'should' are now of the past.
