After more than three days on the lam, Dwight Gooden turned himself in to Tampa police at 4:40 today, according to Joe Durkin, spokesman for the Tampa police department. He was charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer, a felony, and inwith driving under the influence and resisting an officer without violence. He is being held on $3,000 bail at the Hillsborough County jail.
Gooden fled the scene of a crime Monday night after being pulled over by police for suspicion of DUI and was wanted by cops for drunk driving and the other charges.
