So, Saturday me and a friend travel from Co Springs to Boulder to go to a beer festival.
This beer festival was a little different because all the beer being tasted was 9%ABV or higher.
Me and my friend are no strangers to beer festivals and the higher alcohol content beers.
Hes a home brewer and im going to be starting soon!
So we make it up there and they hand out 16 ticket ment for 2oz poors.
Funny thing about the ticket is most of the beer dealers were so busy they used the honor system with you putting them in a bucket after you got the beer.
First thing we get is a beer with 18% ABV.
Thats when it all started going down hill, the start....
So that was at 12:30PM.
We drank everything from beer to barley and wheat wine...
Were doing good till suddenly at 2:30pm I cant see straight and my friend falls over cus hes so drunk.
We decide fuck it and its time to go to the car.
Not sure why we did that but everything REALLY started to suck as the alcohol REALLY made its way through our system.
I tried to purposely throw up to avoid it getting even worse and worse...
Didnt work...
Walked around for a bit, or rather stumbled around to try and sober up to no avail...
Ended back at the car and managed to throw up for a while...
Ended up laying on the street next to the car for a while desperately trying to sleep so i didnt have to deal with this.
Couldn't because every time i closed my eyes i wanted to die.
Then an ANGLE from out of no where hands me and my friend water!!!
WAHOOO i think and tell her i love her!
Started drinking as much as i could hold down.
Went back to laying down...
Decided to get up a couple min later and did one thing ive NEVER done before...
Threw up almost all over myself...
Avoided the majority of it....
Made it to the car seat to try and sleep.
I must have slept for a while and managed to become sober enough to walk and finish the water. YAY!!!!
Eventually i was sober enough to drive but prolly not legally.
