My son was born Sept 2nd, which is why I've not been here in almost two months. I'm sure you understand. He was born by C-section which was fine, except my g/f was mad they made her push for four hours before calling it off. For me, it was surreal to see her laying on the operating table, knowing that on the other side of...

Wow. I realized I haven't posted in a looong time. Then again I haven't been to SG in a while, either. So my apologies to everyone on my friends list whom I've not replied to. I'll try and keep up a bit better this month. Now, onto the blog!

I cried when both of my girls were born, it's nothing to be ashamed of, just don't faint.

A word of warning though. In the days after the birth, you will be discussing the event between the 2 of you, DON'T do what I did and tell her that when the baby came out it looked like an alien. biggrin

awww congrats!

The reality of fatherhood is starting to sink in.

My g/f is about seven months pregnant with our first child, a son. This weekend we went to an ultrasound clinic that does this neat 3D ultrasound, that gives you a pretty decent picture of what your child looks like. I got to see him yawn, which was awesome.

I'm so happy for you to be taking this foray into fatherhood! The kid's got a good pop on the outside, waiting. Well, for the most part... that thing about switching "your" for "you're" is simply cruel! You... you monster! mad

Even if you didn't beat them, you could always tell them you did. biggrin

I really think I want to start a Bay Area photographer's meet-up. I have a nice Nikon D40 that I never use, and getting a bunch of people who are better photographers than I together seems like a good way to improve my photography skills and have a fun time. If only I could convince li'l tuffy to let me into the SFSG group. bok

So I've come to the realization that I have some serious issues with authority figures. I've also come to the realization that I need to be more adult in dealing with these people. Yeesh, wish me luck in trying to do this! smile

I see your point, but when people call me cute I think that they might as well call me a hamster blackeyed

I went to culinary school several years ago with aspirations of becoming a great chef. I'd have a restaurant booked months in advance, and I'd do the talk-show circuit promoting my cook book. Regretfully, to be a great chef you need to start early in life. Beginning in one's 30s makes things especially hard because its difficult to work the long hours for low pay...

I sometimes comment on my own blog. Its like masturbating. If nobody else is gonna do it to me I'm gonna do it to myself. wink
Something odd happens when I try to edit my blogs to add more info...all sorts of strange characters get added to the words...So I end up commenting on my own blog. I view it as verbal masturbation.
