It was fucking great! had lots of fun with my dearest srStinnky who's one of the guys of my life, definitely one of the guy's I'll always love for good.... and my best friend Pau, who's like my sister! and Argel... met lovely Pamita, she is probably one of the best human beings I've ever met, she's too kind and lovely to be true and her fucking awesome friend Tania! we did some shopping, srStinnky did some major Hockey Stuff Shopping... if you could've only seen his face when we got to the hockey dreamland he was like a kid on christmas morning!
I flew all the way home this weekend for mom's birthday!

everything was going pretty well during the morning, and I knew I was going that night to see Muse live at Palacio de los Deportes with my best friend Oso... so I was already excited about that...
By 3pm or so... I checked my gmail account and found a very very pleasant surprise, If you speak or understand any spanish you can read the email that made my day, week, month, year!
for those who didn't know anything about this... well I applied during March to go to this scrip writing/ film production scolarship program for the summer.... as most of you may already know, I go to film school and that's pretty much what makes my life happy, during my spring break I got a voice message on my cellphone from this lady telling me I was a finalist and needed a couple of recommendation letters from my teachers, my CV and some kind of proof that I was proficient in English language, that was just crazy because I was home for the week, all my teachers were on break as well... so no one was at school, I have all my papers here in México City, and I was miles away from here.... so I wrote my CV, called as many teachers as I could to ask them to send the letters even via email to the lady, and called my uncle in México asking him to look for my TOEFL results... so the teachers said I needed to write the letters for them send them via email to them and they'll send the letter to this lady asap, one of my teachers, even went to my school, got a nice UNAM stationary print the letter signed it scanned it and sent it to the lady, my uncle scanned the toefl results so I sent that as well attached to my CV and so... everything was done... it was a matter of luck and fate... I really wanted to be part of this scolarship program, because it'll be HUGE whenever I apply for another scholarship in the future, this was for undergraduates from 18 to 22 years old with good academic performances, another guy from my school also sent the application but wasn't chosen for the program, so I'm seriously happy, this really makes me think I am actually doing the right thing!
well I wanted to share that.... and.... oh yeah.... after Muse (which was an amazing show... one of the best in a long long time) I was driving back home with my friend and got stuck in traffic... you may wonder howcome there was traffic at 1250 am well... there was an earthquake, a big one... 6.4 richter, that's a lot.... fortunatelly we didn't feel a thing... the uncle said the building was moving.... at 4am there was a smaller one.... I was deeply asleep so I didn't feel anything... that was good... but scary though... but since it was 1250 am that means it was already april 13, friday the 13!!!! so... my april 12 was pretty much the best day ever!
oh... and by the way I'm in love with doctashock for those who didn't already know that! 
I'm on easter break.... which is really cool, I'm home for the whole week and best friend Julio is coming to town thursday and I'm so excited! he'll meet my family and old friends!
I want to get a new tattoo.... don't have any money though!
Coachella is just days away!!!! This is way too exciting....

the roommate is soon to be ex-roommate, luckily she decided to move out, which make me a very happy person, I had no intentions of kicking her out, we talked saturday evening, pretty much agreed on the points I made, and was ok with the idea of starting from zero, she went out and did not come back for the rest of the night, next thing I know, is sunday afternoon she tells me she's moving out, and will be gone by wednesday.... which is really good... I think it's the smartest thing she's done ever since she moved to Mexico City... so now I'll get to have a nice and clean house and some food in the fridge hahaha....
for those who haven't seen it yet... well... last semester we had this homeworks for my film direction class, so we were told to make 1 min long short films for each class.... we didn't get anything from school... not a single light, anything, but were just so much fun!

I've been thinking about kicking her out.... i'm not that big of a bitch though... I can be really bitchy if I get pissed off... but it takes a lot to really get me mad... and she got it!

the birthday is coming pretty soon... and don't know what to do yet... any suggestions? i know i want a party... but don't really know what to do yet...
i was planning on having a nice dinner with friends, an early dinner with my really close friends, and then tell everyone else to come later at night....
the boyfriend and the husband hate each other (just so you know... those are two of my bestest friends, and it's been said one is my loving boyfriend and the other is my husband and we're a happy family...) but the husband pretty much hates the boyfriend! what should i do? i want both of them to be with me for my birthday celebration... and both the boyfriend and the husband have exquisite musical taste... and they both want to be dj's that night!!! gosh.... I hate boys!

also must I thank FICCO for amazing films such as The Boss of It All by Lars Von Trier, I don't want to sleep alone by Tsai Ming Liang from Malasya, Crickets by Japanese director Shinji Aoyama, the grotesque, yet beautiful Hungarian film Taxidermia, by so freakin talented, and too young to be true, György Pálfi, and the object of my obsession lately, Shortbus amazingly well directed by another too talented to be true and also really young John Cameron Mitchel, who also directed Hedwig and the Angry Inch... I actually saw the film twice in less than a week and highly recomend it! it is unbelievable, and I loved it, all of the cast is brilliant, the story is so honest and real and filled with life, you can actually feel in touch with the characters...

HAPPIEST POST! (of the month perhaps... but you never know)
but anyways... I'm sorry it's been a while since I last wrote anything around here... life's been pretty darn crazy this past days... and will continue this way until the 22nd of this month... plus then there's the amazing Film Festival coming pretty soon and I'm just too excited!!!
I am oficially going to coachella this year!!! I'll be there getting drunk and listening to amazing music with my dearest srStinnky I'm sooooo happy excited can't wait!!!! it's going to be definitely one of the most amazing experiences ever!!!
some of my dear school friends are also going so it's going to be so cool! can't wait... anyone else going? sure hope I can meet some of you in person!!! that'll totally make that the most amazing trip ever! can't wait for it to happen!!!!been really busy lately working on this mostly
that's why I've been sooooo tired and totally not able to either update nor answer all those lovely comments you've all left to me, makes me sad not to be in touch with you guys!! I miss you all!!!
And it's not over yet, still got 3 more art directions to go... one AD and direct mine and edit my friend's short film... this is just insane!!!!
yet had time to go to the movies and saw Scoop (Woody Allen) which just opened here.... and also saw The Perfume, and it was pretty good... I was actually surprised and very pleased with this film... I caught myself trying to smell the things while i was watching it.... highly recommended if you haven't seen it.... plus it's got some amazing cinematography, I understand that this is not the kind of film you'll be used to see by Tykwer (who also directed Lola Rennt [Run Lola Run] and The princess and the warrior) but although it's not what you'd expect to see from him... it is very unique very Tykwer.... he made it the right way, there are some pretty amazing shots!!!! I really enjoyed it!
Plus I want to see the very first mexican horror film I've been really dying to see in my whole life.... it's called KM 31, and they say it really is scary.... haven't seen a really scary mexican film ever since I saw "Hasta el viento tiene miedo" which is a black and white 1968 film... and must say a pretty scary one.... so I'm excited about that as well...
Monday, no school, no work, no anything.... it's a national holiday so I think I'll be going to a small town to relax with my good friend Julio, eat some traditional stuff and all that... pictures coming soon!
Hopefully I'll be able to be around here more often now... even though it's still going to be crazy... i'll try to make the time to say hello to you!!!

This was an amazing weekend... though I had so many things to do during the weekend.... I had lots of fun and enjoyed every single thing I did...
Friday, srStinnky and I went out we went to "The Under" which is a bar we like a lot.... and finally met lovely Adelaida she is so sweet and nice and beautiful!!! I had an amazing evening! then saturday finally went to get my new Ink!!!! and here it is!!!
