Fuck this day sucks. One of my guys gets shot and I had to oversee a 100+MPH pursuit across state lines to catch the fucker and he still lives.

I will be moving soon. Somewhere nearby. I just need to get out of this house. Too many bad memories for me here, it's about time they stay in the past. Maybe I'll get an apartment or something because I haven't really found a house that is worth what they want.

He is now 2 months and 3 days old. It sure doesn't seem like it has been two months. It really sucks I wish time went slower when I was with him because I have to work too damn much in order to make ends meet. :S

I'm still working on getting pictures with my new camera too. Just because the camera is kick ass does not mean the picture taker is able to capture kick ass pictures

So I finally got my new camera. I got the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi. It is a very very nice camera. I'll share some photo's soon when I actually have time to use it!

I'm not gone just really busy with work etc. I think starting this week I will have 3 weeks of normal shifts. So 4 days on 4 days off.

I would like to introduce everyone to Ryland Patrick

So I am now into my second week with this 911 job. So far so good as far as the work goes. However, I am noticing more and more that this is a very political job and that sucks hardcore. Some issues I have.

1. Male employees are not allowed to have any piercings of any kind. Although nobody will be discriminated against due to any non merit issue. As in piercings have nothing to do with my capability to do the job. Therefore it is non merit.

2. Employee's are not allowed to get tatoo's and to get one is grounds for dismissal

3. I got a lecture today because I said a policy is retarded. Yet, my trainer insults nearly every caller when she gets off the phone with them. "fucking idiot" "how stupid was he". She even called an 11 year old boy an idiot because he got a colar stuck around his neck. IMO he is a kid. Kids do things like that. Doesnt mean you degrade them.

4. I was turned down originally for the job due to medical reasons. I re-read through the app and found the following:

Now I bolded the part that I have issue with. Now please tell me if I am misunderstanding this?

5. By being a member of this site it is grounds for immediate dismissal. If I were to go to a strip club it would also be grounds for dismissal.

6. They have this big ol' thing that you have to be very open to critism and vise versa. So being open to my trainer critisizing me and me her.(or other employee's etc) Well as some know I build sites and do a bit of scripting on the side. I took a look at thier website and found that all data submitted via a comment form was completely public. There were emails, personal phone numbers, addresses, usernames, passwords, confidential discussions etc. So being the nice employee I am I brought it to thier attention. Instead of acknowledging it the guy gets ticked off. He also got ticked off that I brought an incompatibilty issue with the firefox web browser up too. It was a simple fix. Change a 1 to a 3 and it will work fine on internet explorer and firefox. His response was we dont care about fire fox. you know that tiny tiny 15% of all internet users that use firefox.


Now you may wonder why I am still working there. Well, I need the job. Not just for me but also since I now have a child to take care of. I therefore have to make sacrafices to make sure that all my finacial responsibilities are met. Take it as you will.

Life needs to be more exciting... what to do, what to do....

For the 1.2 people that read this I got that dispatcher job. Ended up going to the doc and getting cleared for it and got the job. So far so good. Little boring but hey it's good money and a hell awesome schedule! I'm bored later.

EDIT: I"m reallllly bored.. fuck

I'm bored. I should probably be doing laundry or yard work or something. I have to go to work tomorrow. I managed to wiggle my way into that dispatcher job after I was turned down for it. I start on Sunday. Yes tomorrow. My schedule will be four days on and four days off. Twelve hours a day. For now it will be noon to midnight.

It's going to be weird going someplace that long and then having four days off. That's a lot of time off. Maybe I can work five days or something. I just hope that with this new job I can get a small car, a new place to live, and be settled by the time my son is born.(doubtful ) It cost me 47$ to fill up my gas tank the other day. Hence the strong desire to have a small car. I will be spending close to 200$ a month on gas alone if I don't get a new car. So the savings will be in gas and insurance.

Looking forward to being able to move too. Closer to work in order to save even more time/money on gas. Just kinda like a second beginning. First I have to get out of this little mound of debt that I have atm. Plus, i am sure everything will change when he is born too. Guess I just have to see how things turn out.
