Ah the obligatory (self-obligatory -- self-centered. maybe) birthday post.
All I can say is I hope I actually have a birthday party this year. I haven't really had one since I was 19 or so. I would plan for them and invite people... but I guess I was never important (influential?) enough to coerce people into celebrating this day with me.
And I like birthdays.
I get older. Wiser. And more cantankerous.
