The geek is over and out of my system.
I spent a good portion of the evening fixing my bike. New tires, realigned the brakes, touched up some gearing. I can't wait to start riding to work again. I've really missed it.
But that's what you get when the tire bursts.
Anyway, I think I've been in a bit of a tempestuous mood lately. Someone asked me why I was acting so bitter and aggressive... I just said:
"I'm at the precipice of madness -- being rational in an irrational world has been been a test of will. Patience, it seems, is a virtue amongst mongrels."

I had some support, but I don't think anyone really appreciated it.
I'm sure I meant it at the time, but like a passing storm, the skies are calmer now.
