Must I blog? Perhaps.
I was just listening to Aesop's "Fast Cars, Danger, Fire, and Knives," and it made me feel garrolous. I'm positive I spelled that last word incorrectly, but at least I know what it means, right?
The album made wrapping up unoperational christmas lights much more bearable (dammit if less and less of those damn things work every fuckin year). However, I did buy new lights and light the SHIZNIT out of my porch this year. Combine that with the two (yeah, two, wanna fight about it?) Christmas trees my roommate and I have this year, and ol' baby Jesus has taken over, at least in his commercial guise.
I'm almost positive that no one is reading this, so I'm gonna go off on a tangent.
How the devil and I interact is my own business
he tells me that I'd be better off lazy and listless
but I keep treading on
as if my favorite song
can keep me trudging on through this arduous distance.
Is it the expectations placed on a priviledged class?
Is it the fact that I don't wanna bank a million fast?
Do I want to be the next K. Marx and set off a blast
inside the system that kills so many but remains iconoclast?
All I know is that Capital is king, but spelled with a K it'd be better
and I'm not even nine to five, but when I am I'll be deader.
