Happy Winter all.
(I know I'm a bit early, but the weather doesn't seem to be paying much attention to the calendar either.)

Had an amazing time recently on a trip to the Tahoe and Reno area.
Downieville, CA. if you like mountain biking, that is a trail I cannot recommend enough. It was SO fun to ride. Second time I've ridden there, and I enjoyed it the first time I went too, but this time with a proper bike, it was one of the best rides I've ever enjoyed. Nice pine and oak forest following along a river for 16 miles of almost all downhill singletrack.
I'm a really sucky rider too, but the bike really makes up for it. That bike was skipping across stones and felt like it was gliding at times.
