Yesterday morning I found a nest of baby bunnies in my front yard. They were no bigger than the palm of a human hand. This morning as I was heading to my car to leave for work, I noticed one of the bunnies was walking in the street. I put him in a shoe box, and took him to work with me. When I got home from work, I noticed another bunny wandering near the nest. Upon further inspection of their nest, I found yet another bunny along with a dead one. Since the bunnies had been left unattended for over twenty-four hours, I assumed that their mother must have died. I took the three live ones to the local emergency wildlife rescue center. When I came home, my wife said that she had heard some screeching outside of our apartment. She went outside to find out what the trouble was, and she found a cat pinning down another bunny. Fortunately, it wasn't injured. I then drove back to the rescue center; so, that the last little guy could be with its siblings. I hope that all these bunnies will be rehabilitated.
