Okay, so I don't have computer access for a week or so and freaking SG goes freaking crazy. I don't even know how to navigate this fucker now. On the other hand, I was welcomed by a good number of well wishes and such from all you lovely SG peoples. Thank you for that, I was happy see all the comments. Updates: it's still frikkin freezing here and getting more freezing everyday. We are on leave right now so I'm basically just bumming around here trying to think of something fun to do, but with the upcoming............. 'travels' ........... I kinda feel like I should stay here and prep myself mentally. I don't know, first deployment, critical job, position of great responsibility, yadda, yadda, yadda. Speaking of which, I miss Seinfeld a ton. Greatest show ever!!! Umm, we'll be leaving pretty soon (not really supposed to say exactly when) and it all seems kind of surreal. It will probably be a bit of a shock once we finally get over there. Anyway, I'm rambling like an MF'er here. I hope you guys are doing well and you have a great Halloween. Hey guys, just wanted to say hi and let everyone know that I'm doing well. Alaska is good. Cold, but good. Actually I quite prefer the weather here than in Georgia. I'm just a cold weather person. But it has already reached double digits below zero here on a number of occasions. Fun, but damn!! And it sucks not having my truck. But we'll be leaving soon and it will be worth it in thee end to have made the sacrifice. Anyway, I hope you all are doing well and look forward to hearing from you periodically. Made it to Alaska last night and started in-processing today. I know it's just Day 1 but it seems pretty cool so far. Can't wait to jump on the bird and start training up. Take care folks. Hope you are well.

Well kids, this may be it. The movers came and got all my shit today and tomorrow I do my final out, and the internet will shut off. I fly out of ATL on my way to Alaska on Monday and we will be in Kuwait en route to Afghanistan by late November. Since I don't think I'm going to get internet set up in Alaska, I'm only going to be there a few weeks before we deploy, this may be the last you hear from me in a while. I'll come check in here when I can, but I can't say how often that will be. Anyway, I love you guys and wish you all the very best. Take care of yourselves.
