Just came back to London after some well deserved holidays in Kyiv, Istanbul and Hvar. This was the first time I traveled by myself and must say I completely loved it. Lots of partying during the Euro Cup in Kyiv, some cultural stuff in Istanbul and then more partying and beach in Hvar, what else can you ask for? I want to thank Satelina for taking me out and about in Kyiv, showing me all the cool local spots and for all the good memories in such a cool city. Without further ado then, spoilers ahead.
Can't wait to travel again, fuck London! ![]()
Just released this teaser for Find a Fiend's upcoming album. I'm currently recording vocals and should post another video soon. Can't wait to have the album ready!
Did this EPK for one of the newest, greatest and most extreme metal bands from Chile, All Tomorrows \m/
And also did a promo video for their drummer Pablo Martinez
There's a few other videos on the Sector5.tv website. We should be uploading another one for the Norwegian band 22 and another one for the Chilean band Drogatones pretty soon, as well as uploading all of the previous to Vimeo (IF and WHEN they fucking sort out the problems with the Desktop Uploader, *sigh*).
Oh! And BTW, I took pics for Radio Sonar at Roger Waters' The Wall the other day, talk about an epic job! Check out some pics at my photography portfolio.
Are you excited about Find a Fiend's new album?
Did All Tomorrows blow your fucking mind?
Do you want Pablo to be your drummer? (Hint, I do)
Are you also sickened by Vimeo's policy of discontinuing a perfectly useful tool?
Have you ever wished you could get payed to shoot epic rock stars and watch their show for free (in a country where concert tickets are pretty much the most expensive in the world)?
Let the ranting begin below

Came back with all the batteries charged and with a lot of stuff to do regarding photography, video and the band. I'm still looking to get back to shooting SG models so if you are reading this, please check out my online portfolio.
Looking for a rock n roll night out in London, UK? My band Find a Fiend has a few gigs lined up ahead:
Thursday 11th of August @ The Rhythm Factory (Aldgate East)
Saturday 27th of August @ The Camden Enterprise
Sunday 25th of September @ The Camden Barfly
Hope to see you there! xxx
My band Find a Fiend is competing to play at this year's Benicassim Festival and we went through to the second stage! There were more than 2k bands from all over Europe and now we are between the Top 40 most voted.
It would be really cool if you could spare a few minutes to vote for us, following these instructions:
1. Visit this link
2. Press play on a song and click on the stars
3. Register your email address, a username and a password on the pop-up window
4. Check your inbox or spam folder, click on the confirmation link, play and rate the songs with 5 stars. (Complete plays are better for voting purposes)
5. Leave your message on the voting page wall
And that's it! I would really appreciate it if you do it, this could be our big break!
Much love! xxx
I wanted to ask you a favour, pretty much in the same vein as SG works. Basically my band has entered a contest to play in this year's Benicassim Festival and I would love if you guys could help us out by voting for us. As I said on my previous blog, our music it can appeal to fans of Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, People in Planes, Coheed and Cambria, Porcupine Tree, A Perfect Circle, Thrice, Silverchair, Lacuna Coil, etc, and you can check it out at our official website.
But for the voting just follow these 4 easy steps and you will earn my eternal gratitude and good karma:
1. Visit http://www.supajam.com/fib2011/entry/Find-a-Fiend
2. Press “Play” on “No Retreat No Surrender” and rate it with 5 stars, then do the same with “Equinox (White Masks)”. Tip: it definitely helps us more in terms of the voting system if you listen to the whole tracks, but we know you are busy, and we won’t be mad if you don’t.
3. A pop up window will come up asking for your email address, type it in and check its inbox. If you have received a mail from Supajam please click on the link to confirm you are human. If you haven’t received it, please check your spam folder.
4. Either write on the voting page wall or post the link above on your own wall to get some other people voting for us.
Thanks!
And if you are around East London, we are playing at Catch in Shoreditch tonight, come down!

Cheers!
Anyway, let's recapitulate a bit from the last post:
Suicide Girls Photoshoots: Shooting the set with Yesenia was absolutely great. I went to Amersham and High Wycombe for the first time ever since I live in London. Met her boyfriend, Sam, who is very a cool bloke and who helped us out a lot and we all basically had a blast. Unfortunately, we didn't get the set accepted. We uploaded the set to both Staff and Member review, and for some reason, we didn't get a chance to hear your thoughts, which sucks a lot. I've attached some spoilers ahead, so please, any constructive criticism is always welcome and most appreciated. (Specially from those SG Staff Photographers who sometimes comment on my boring blogs, please give me your worst to make out the best).
I'm still pursuing this path and would love to shoot another set with Yesenia or another hopeful/SG in the near future. So if you are within the Greater London area, and just happened to stumble upon my blog, gimme a shout.
As I said on the earlier post, I was supposed to shoot a Chilean SG as well but unfortunately due to time constraints we were unable to do it.
Band stuff: (If you still haven't heard it, check out NOW our myspace, we've got a new song in there that has been played at Chilean Radio Sonar.fm)
We've got a new gig in London on the 4th of March, if you are around, please pop by! This is the new style of posters I've been doing lately
Holidays in Chile: Holidays were just TOO good, besides from a few incidents (like my beloved camera being drowned in a pool and then promptly replaced by its assassin). More photos to come, for now just check out my Flickr
Thanks for reading! Care to comment? ![]()
