I lost my cell phone on Friday!!!
I was in the Baltimore/Washington international airport and I set it down while I was in the restroom. I walked over to the sink, washed my hands, started walking out and realized I forgot my phone...went back to the stall I was occupying and there was a man in there. I asked him if there was an iPhone on the TP and he didnt reply. So I waited...standing there, I also asked the janitor if he had found it? He said, "no" and that he had not been in that stall yet...the man came out and I again asked him if my phone was in there and, of course, his reply was also "no". I gave him an evil, I want to destroy your face look, asked again and he replied the same.
Now frustrated, at the lack of honesty in the common man and slightly embarrassed at my own irresponsibility, I walk out feeling defeated I have never done anything like this before.
I checked with both terminal counters adjacent to the restroom and even had a nice Airline girl make a pleading announcement for me over the terminals. She also, let me borrow her cell phone to try and call mine no luck. The perpetrator turned my phone off; straight to voicemail. I suppose they will be able to resell it, but there is no way they can actually use it without my pass code. After this, I briskly (yes, I said briskly I was still enroute to Long Island for the weekend and about board my plane soon) briskly walked to the BWI Lost and Found to file a case. Do I honestly expect to ever see my phone again? No, of course not. But going to the Lost and Found gave me a small piece of mind, knowing that I did all that I could-legally at least. I really wanted to track down the gentleman who sat down after me and the elderly janitor and tear their bags and cleaning cart to pieces to prove their innocence! But there is no point getting arrested for not maintaining accountability of my own property, right?!
When I checked back with the Lost and Found, flying home today, it was closed stupid federal holiday!
Soooo now I am in the process of rebuilding my phone book. If you have ever given me your phone number and would like me to still have it, please hand it out to me again. If you dont want to divulge your private info on my blog you can just email it to me. Thanks

ok, i just got back from drinking with some friends. nothing significantly crazy happened, it IS wednesday...but i met a girl tonight. honestly it wasn't even like the great {preferred random} "oh, hey, hi, my name is... situation. actually i noticed this girl when we first went into the bar. a little shorter than me, brown hair, very pretty, great smile, you get the picture......... we made eye contact, but i didn't approach her initially- like i know i should have.
side note: Ive been "working" (if you know me, you know what 'work' actually is) for the past few months and to be honest Ive been out of the 'game' for a bit, so to stop beating around the bush..............i was being a shy dork; charmingly handsome, but still too lame to say hi!
an good while later, at least an hour or so, my friends went outside to have a smoke (i dont but smoke tobacco, but i was accompanying them) and 'she' walks out--looks at me and keeps walking. at this time all my friends are giving me the 'go chase after her look' and i stubbornly refuse. she walks out of view, and one of my friends slaps me! rightfully so, i was being an idiot. so at this point Im like "whatever, lets go down the street and drink some more." enroute to the next destination, she and her wing(wo)man walk in front me and down to the parking area. Coincidence? I think not! My friend notices this and gets her attention as I obliviously continue to walk to the next bar. I turn around realize one of my friends is missing, go look for him, see him talking to her, and politely interrupt .apparently just at the right time too.
He was just telling her how amazing I think she is and how I was a little nervous to speak to her b/c Ive been away for a while, etc I excuse him from the conversation and FINALLY introduce myself since the whole night was a quite an unorthodox method of saying hi, I decided it best to give her, MY phone number. I know shell call, but damn if hindsight isnt 20/20 what I would have done differently well for starters I wouldn't be writing this stupid blog, talking to yall, about my nervous/rusty pick-up experience, Id still be out talking to her

I was just up at west point, ny for this formal dinner and dance thing my sister invited me to. This was my first visit to the tundra prison of castle grayscull and it was surprisingly(if that is a real word)pretty fun. My sister and I went snowboarding for the first time. Talk about a hilarious disaster. I’m sure I was flipping more often than gliding gracefully...haha of course we get back to her room and her friend is trying to give me all these useless pointers. Like, keep your hips over the board, don’t use your arms and other such nonsense...hahaha
i lost my job today...kind'a! even though my boss knew i was planning on leaving in a few months, i got reassigned. now i have more responsibilty and work...without a pay increase. and get this, the job i was doing, i am the only one in my whole "office" that knows how to do it, and teach it...but my boss feels like he doesn't need me. even though the "re-assignment" was to his boss's boss...ha! what a f^cking idiot!!
