I doubt that anyone remembers any of my previous blogs about getting a promotion, mainly because they are so few and far between. But I ended up getting it finally. I'm now in management, which came with a 20% raise plus commission. Since I'm just starting in it, I have a lot of bitch work to do now. But most importantly, my foot is in the door, my checkbook is bigger, and "Manager" is on my resume. Everything else in my life is pretty much the same. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because I have a wonderful family, fantastic friends, and my car is somehow still running. Bad because I'm single still. I've been single for waaaay too long now. It never really bothered me but I've had a lot of friends getting engaged, married, and having kids. I just want someone to share a nice dinner and conversation with. I realized last night that I need to get rid of my phone while drinking. Soon enough its going to get me in serious trouble. Drinking-can be fun... Drunk dialing-bad every time. Drunk texting isn't any better.

I tried to text something to my blog, but it only sent one small part which would have come across really badly, so I just took off the whole thing. More later.

I've been dreading Christmas this year. I'm not pulling enough hours and my boss is being a dick about it. I really need to hurry and get my degree so I can afford to survive. I still have a few things to buy and I'm running out of money, not to mention how close to Christmas it is. The stores are going crazy. I think I might have to go in the middle of the night to somewhere and hope they have something that I can give. I also just found out that I have to work the day after Christmas and the day after New Years. Its just a bunch of crap. Its going to suck big time cause I have big plans to be wasted for New Years and I was hoping to have at least two days of recovery time. Although the main plan of having way to much mind altering deliciousness, I don't even have plans for the evening as far as where to go. I live in Indy, so if anyone hears of anything, let me know. Other than that, have a great Christmas and New Years!!!
