Here's a pic of 'em

On a more sombre note;
For those of you who don't know, the SG writer Daniel Robert Epstein (D.R.E.) has recently passed away.
I thought I'd mention it here in a journal as I initially found out about this myself from Posh's journal before going to the main news page. For those of you who wish to read and would like to add a comment to the R.I.P. article, here is a direct link Rest in Peace: Daniel Robert Epstein.
I read his name every day on here (and still do), so he will always be with us in spirit. He was such a great writer, but so young to be taken from us, and only two years younger than me which is food for thought. My thoughts go out to all that were closest to him.
I've been surrounded by death on and off for over a year with people close to me, most passing away from old age, but a couple were not. I've recently just found out a cousin of mine has lung cancer, so I'm especially sensitive to the heightened reality of mortality.

On a lighter note;
Two great sets for you to go view and comment on...
Mean Girls
...by the lovely Sky.
...and the brilliant classic film themed dual set from the lovely Nemesis and Sugar
The Warriors
...which has delightfully gone live for second chance Sunday
(Why is was rejected in the first place I don't know?)

Finally:
Anyone a fan of the film maker Jim Jarmusch?
He's one of my favourite film makers.
I'll probably post quite a few classic clips from various films of his over time.
But for now, I'll leave you with these three 'jail scene' clips from one of his best movies;
DOWN BY LAW - 1986
...which features John Lurie and Tom Waits,
and one of the funniest actors ever Roberto Benigni.
DOWN BY LAW - Meet Roberto
We are introduced to the character Roberto (Roberto Benigni). Roberto is an Italian tourist who doesn't speak very much English.
DOWN BY LAW - Cigarette
Roberto tries to break the ice in his own unique way.
DOWN BY LAW - Scream
The three inmates with barely anything in common are starting to bond.
