I was totally getting sick at work today so after work i took a shopping trip to cook! I made a tofu/yellow squash scrambler with spices and basil and hot sauce. It was awesome! I also made a power drink with juice from one lime, one lemon, and the meat of a red grapefruit. Oh also an apple and honey and ice, it came out nice and frosty in my nice blender. MMMMMMMM. 
Wow i had the most amazing day/night yesterday (and I don't mean the SG twins) It was one of those nights that makes me love NYC. Got my hair cut by this scorching hot girl in SoHo and had no complaints about the experience 
Next I ate and coffee'd at Grey Dog and loved the pouring rain. Went to a friend's bbq in brooklyn and had great vegan treats (they had food for all diets) and cought up with old friends. Then I went to this amazing beer place in Williamsburg called Spuyten Duyvil and had yummers Kulmbacher Eisbach and some light beer called Bitter and Twisted. It was great. Then I went to this nice little out of the way Japanese bar with little red heads everywhere on the wall and in the resin counter/bar. I had great miso soup and some interesting risotto droquettes. Also i had really great shochu infused with pineapple. I think its korean vodka and they soak the fruit live in the back room for months. Then i went to a party in SoHo and it was funny, some kid's parents were gone and he had a crazy party... it was an amazing loft near broadway and I didn't even get there til 2:30am. I slept nice today. I love NY.

Eyes hurt. Slept a little too long. Stayed up too late. Last night I thought I didnt have any friends and then discovered a bunch of new ones, it was great! I like bars where you can just hang out and not drink if thats your mood. I need to get stuff done today. Groceries, Sofrito cooking, etc.
Ugh working too much. I'm glad I visited New Orleans beforehand and now I feel the same about Galveston. Damn. I told my roommate about Syd Mead tonight.
I have no energy today..... yet. I saw some really nice country/rockabilly at Hank's last night. ANyone else go?
Holy shit I'm drinking Pernod mixed with Dr. Pepper. It fucking rules. I'm getting all hyper. I love how half of all the liquor types in the world are flavored like anise. Anyway, I'm sitting in my mansion of a new house, in sooty East Williamsburg. Thank god I can finally get settled in my new place!
Can you get a headache from drinkig too much water? I was excited to find that the place just by my subway stop has cheap tufu cream cheese bagels (plus tomato) so I got off to a good start. I discovered this weekend that Tompkins Square Park is much nicer in the daytime
