I moved into my own place on April 1st, 2012, and out of my parent's house. My new apartment is a completely basement sectioned off from the rest of the house so I do not have to deal with the other tenants whom live upstairs. My place includes a large bedroom, smaller bedroom, a den, cold storage room (which once I get the materials, I am going to turn that room into a music room), kitchen, bathroom, living room, and a laundry room with non-coin-operated machines. Someone was supposed to live with me but they backed out two days before I moved in. Lucky for me, I can still afford to live on my own. I have not made up my mind as to whether or not I actually want a roommate. I think it would be a lot less stressful living on my own but it sometimes gets lonely. I would rather have someone elses company than just stick to myself but I imagine if I lived with anyone, we would probably end up arguing a lot and it might ruin the friendship. I was so paranoid that I would not have enough money to support myself living on my own, but I have been good at holding onto my money and not overspending and fucking myself over. Aside from my rent, I have to pay for hydro, internet, cell phone, food, and cleaning supplies. I like to keep my place spic and span. I am lucky that I got a deal for my internet; half price off the first year. The people living upstairs asked me if I had wireless internet while my internet was acting up on me. I was on the phone with the internet service provider and they were so useless as for fixing my internet, was stressed out and the last thing I wanted to hear was someone asking me if I had the internet. I have not talked to those tenants since but plan on asking them if they want to share the internet with me. I am not sure if they want to rent it off me or not, but if they do, that would be pretty cool as long as we don't go over my data usage limit each month. I would probably charge them what I am paying now since I got it for half price...

I have been coming up with a lot of new ideas for my book, but still have to see if my co-author wants those ideas to happen in the book. We have been slacking on working on the actual copy of the book but I wrote down tons of ideas in my brainstorming book recently. I plan on getting back in the writing groove this weekend. Oh yeah, my friend who's dog passed away, got another dog, so I am a dogsitter again. I don't make much money from doing that job, but I get free meals, get to watch television (which my apartment is lacking), I can use their internet, plus I get some drugs and spending money to do odd chores around their house. But anyway, I really enjoy living on my own. I just wish I had a girl to share my place with. I saw Dayglo Abortions play in my birthtown last month. They put on an amazing show. I tried to record the audio on my cell phone but the actual sound files did not turn out so great. I am working on deleting the ones that don't work, which so far out of 20 songs, only one worked and it wasn't even a song, it was just them fucking around on the bass in between songs. For some reason that clip ended up sounding pretty clear. I just noticed the singer of Dayglo Abortions talks kind of like me with that burnt out skater/stoner voice. I got a kick out of that. Next time I try and record a concert on my cell phone, I plan on changing locations between songs, so that way at least some of the songs should sound high quality. I am thinking of posibly having a yard sale soon, I have a few things I am trying to sell on Kijiji. I am not jonesin for money but would like to save up for either a new skateboard or a high hat for my miniature drum set. If I had a high hat, I would make more use out of my drums. I recorded a couple sets of me playing the electric guitar. I am going to keep recording each time I play my guitar cuz I want to get some full songs recorded complete with all the instruments. I like to think I have written some pretty classy songs and would love to be able to just sit back and hear myself playing all the instruments on a cd. I do have quite a few recordings, but not complete with all the instruments in them yet. In conclusion, I am doing well and life is being great to me lately.
