makes me happy: Being vegan, girls who make an art of doing their makeup, lightning fast internet speed, tea, coffee, hearing people vomit, making people laugh, conversations that go places, the sound of shattering glass, cloudy days, breakfast for dinner.
crush: no one in particular
makes me sad: when people are really down on themselves, when people think they're not good enough, and when people are depressed.
into: mischief, robots, tapioca pearl drinks, tattoos, incense, downloading music, cats, creepy places, anime, black clothes, being a complete weirdo in public, girls who wear lip-gloss, zombies, blood and guts, exploding heads, over-using the word "hella".
when i overhear them talking, they always seem so interested in everything. They can talk about almost anything. I fucking love listening to them. Its a lot more interesting than anything I overhear people my age talking about. To think, that they've been alive for so much longer than me. It must be so weird living in a time when everything is so different. Sometimes, I want to do things the old fashioned way. I miss writing letters. Talking on the phone. All people do now is throw salutations back and forth on facebook and try to feel important. So, I'm at this coffee shop called mission city coffee, I would loooove this place if they had more vegan options. They have a lot of food for break, lunch and din, but most of it is meat or dairy, blah. They're really big on acoustic shows in this large room they have in the back of the cafe. I've been here for a little over an hour and it looks like there's going to be some kind of perfomance tonight. I've never been here for one of these shows, but I love guitar and the crowd here is older, like late 40's and up. I must be the youngest one here. I kinda like that. So far, I've had a pumpkin latte, and then decided that I was hungry enough to order a veggie burger, which was ok, but I was kinda freaking out for a bit while eating it because I wasnt familiar with the brand of patty they were using and its texture was frighteningly close to chicken. But, I think it was fine. I was gonna leave for a minute there, but then I decided to stay for the show and order a heineken. So, here I am, chillin with the old folks, feeling pretty accepted. I dont know why, but I just feel that way. I dont know how long I will stay here for, but I'm just gonna feel it out. I have no idea what I'm going to do after this, but at some point tonight I do need to do some still life bottle painting.
