Ok, so I got tagged, and have to tell you guys 20 things about myself. I'll be a good sport about this, but I better not get it again.
1. I hate chain letters, and anything like them. Especially in the age of internet, they're a pain in the ass. (greggster, I'm talking to you)
2. I abhor poor grammar. I don't think it's asking too much for people to be able to speak their native language properly. obviously, I let things slide with my friends who speak English as a second language. Let's just say that it's very tough to navigate the internet because I just want to correct everyone's writing.
3. I want to be a high school English teacher when I finish college. I have even been jotting down lesson plan ideas in notebooks for the past few years.
4. I love to dance. All sorts of dance are great, but I just love to move. I am fascinated by the way the body moves, and by the emotional response to the physical act of dancing.
5. I love kids. I used to tell my ex that I wanted a round dozen, but now I'll be happy for any I get to have. If I can't have them biologically, expect me to adopt. I might adopt anyway, and I'll be looking for kids that are a little older because older kids often get lost in the foster system and not adopted.
6. The time from Thanksgiving to New Year's is all Christmas in my opinion. I love the holiday season - it's my favorite time of year.
7. I wear fur. I think that people who eat meat and wear leather, but call fur "gross" are hypocrites. And I have been known to tell them so to their faces.
8. Much of my wardrobe is pink. I really enjoy being a girly-girl.
9. I used to sell knives for a living. It was a great job, and helped me embrace my love of cooking.
10. If I had the financing, I'd open my own restaurant. I might eventually anyway.
11. I must not be very interesting if I'm running out of stuff to say here.
12. I love to cook, but more importantly, I love to feed people. Especially with unusual and fresh foods. Anyone can make bagel bites.
13. As much as I want to travel, and have unique experiences, I find that I'm actually kind of a homebody. I don't go out very much. Money might have something to do with it, too.
14. I am overly emotional. When I hear about others' suffering, I tend to feel it very personally. I can't even watch movies or the news without getting teary sometimes. Oddly enough, I tend to keep it together in front of my friends when they're going through a tough time - I have that stoic quality face-to-face, but I'll go home and be inconsolable.
15. No matter how many friends I have, and what evidence there is to the contrary, I have always felt unpopular.
16. I am consistently amazed by the ability of people to act in their own worst interests.
17. I struggled with eating disorders for 13 years. I am not recovered, but it's no longer such an ordeal to keep from dieting.
18. I have recurring depression related to my health issues. When I'm dealing with my fertility problems, I have days where I literally can't get out of bed.
19. I love dogs. Part of the reason I'm considering Texas is the fact that we'll have enough space for me to have a few big dogs running around.
20. I love being single, and have never felt that I "needed" a man, but have been in relationships pretty consistently since I was 15.
Okay, if I tag you, you have to tell 20 things about yourself, and tag five other people. Here is my list:

ps cute new photo!
I just read what you wrote in the Girl's Group about my Halloween costume ("sexy" California raisin) and I assure you it's not the white gloves but the cool shades and hot jazz moves. Gotta love the 80's sunglasses. I'm probably going to accidentally evoke John Oates.
