Not too much to report this time around. Been taking part in Tadzi's super-villain contest, now entering its second round. Come on, folks, and help make Zod triumphant!

In other news, one of my favorite comic writers is back in the mix with Sheena #0. I didn't know exactly what to expect from a revamp of a 30's-era jungle queen, but writer Robert Rodi...

How do you vote, so you can reign supreme over all of us and enslave the planet? If you do win, could you use your powers to make sure I get free ice cream forever? Just think about it. You don't have to decide now. tongue

Nice name, I just noticed a post of yours in the comic forum. Also, didn't Robert Rodi write Knockout, I can't remember for sure but I do know I haven't read anything of his. Maybe I'll try Sheena.

Not too much to report. I just posted the latest chapter of my ongoing super-team serial Epsilonl on my website, Metahuman Press. Good stuff at least IMHO.

Anyway, I've been trying to get my site revised since I've got the new computer, but I've definitely got some work to do on it yet. But for some reason, I keep looking at naked girls on...

Hey, where are all my "welcome backs"?

My plan had been to try and update my blogs on an every other day basis or so, but that hasn't quite happened yet. With the new computer around, I've spent a lot more time playing with all the fun new stuff I have rather than actually do what I had planned. (Not to mention trying to make...

After far too long of an absence caused by problem after problem for my ancient old computer, I have now entered the 21st century and bought a nice new Vista-ran computer. Quite the jump from Windows 98...

So, now I should be back and able to regularly update this blog and post at the site and what not.

So, hey everybody, how's it going?

Hey Zod, welcome back. Oddly you posted that comment on Feb 20 yet you apparently last logged in on Feb 17th. I guess that was a marathon 3 day sesh.

Anyway next time you're on, pop into your superheroes group, I submitted a group pic for your approval.

Yeah, so its been awhile since I posted much of anything here and that's mostly cuz my home computer continues to suck. Now with crappy monitor! Hopefully, I'll be able to get a new 'pute with the beginning of '07. It's about damn time.

So one of the things that happened while I wasn't regularly posting was a little group I created called Superheroes....

Not a hell of a lot to report, although many thanks to the folks who actually posted to my pretty little blog next week.

I've been working ahead on the website, with plans to particpate in both National Novel Writing Month in October and 24 Hr Comic Book Day. I'm going to be one tired asshole for much of the next month.

Now I just...

I'm feeling kind of unpopular of late. Until today, none of my friends list updated, and I haven't received a response to a blog post in weeks. Feeling majorly unloved here, so help a brother out.

I purposefully stayed offline yesterday, as the last thing I wanted to see or hear was another horrid memorial to 9/11. Sadly, only the Today show seemed to have...

I purposefully stayed offline yesterday, as the last thing I wanted to see or hear was another horrid memorial to 9/11. Sadly, only the Today show seemed to have the good sense to handle things properly, while most everyone else seemed ready to exploit the tragedy for a buck. It's almost sickening to me.

i feel you on this. i purposefully avoid all shows and memorial spots on tv about it. it hurts me so much to think about then to add on top of it the testimonials of people who lost someone or was trapped in there. i'm just way toooo empathetic to handle it. it's like reliving it all over again and again and again. it hurts way too much!!!!

Been working on revisions to the ol' website. Check out Metahuman Press over the next few days to see more. The new home page will be up by tomorrow morning some time at the latest.

So, wrestling pay-per-views continue to be on my watch list thanks to my local library and Netflix. Wrestlemania I, 13, XIV, XV, and Hardcore Homecoming made up my weekend, with...

So, I pretty much spent the entire weekend watching wrestling PPV's and a little bit of Doctor Who. Caught up on ECW One Night Stand 2006 and then watched Wrestlemanias III thru V. Good times all and all.

So, I'm working on getting a comic project by any means necessary. Hopefully, I can find an artist or two online that needs a writer and than...

So that whole updating my blogs regularly thing has kind of went down the tubes. Ah, well. No one's perfect.

Anyway, I'm working on moving forward on my comics project(s). Over the next few months, I'm going to work on producing both my first couple of books but also a website to actually put said books on. Still working on a good name for the...

So a few weeks back, Tadzi put up his list of the 10 best comic book films of all time. Taking this as a challenge, I now present my own.

10) Sin City: Although sometimes marred by too-quickly produced CGI effects, Sin City is the most faithful adaptation of a comic to movie form ever. The cast is spectacular, the underlying design is beautiful,...

well, we definitely agree on a lot of them, thats for sure.

american splendor i did really enjoy. paul giamatti is great in anything. and ghost world i liked, but honestly, i wanted to choke the main character throughout most of the movie. however, visually, its perfectfor the story it comes from.

i wasnt too fond of the first spiderman, either. for pretty much the exact same reasons that you listed. the second spiderman almost made it on my list.
alisa:
i just love it when i see your profile picture pop up on my ramdom 5 friends. that movie was the best!!!!

Yeah, so both the "regularly updating" and the "greatest superhero movie list" still haven't came to fruition. Sorry, been busy.

Saw Clerks II last weekend. Not Kevin Smith's best, but still a damn hilarious film.

Spent the last week trying to fight off a fucktard who thought it would be funny to hack my site's message board not once, but twice. I had to take...
